I just started making my trees yesterday. They are so addictive and I've done all her paper patterns. Absolutely love them. I use 3 pieces of fabric per paper.

I kept waiting for the kitten to jump on top of the sewing machine so it could help you with your project.......then i heard it was a tiny child, not a kitten.....then i was waiting for you to show us who it was joining you in your sewing area to keep you company and was disappointed to not have been introduced. The kitten is my sons and anytime I sew she comes and sits with me. The sound in the beginning was my grandson with my daughter. 😁

Hello great tutorial I love theses Christmas tree quilt pattern. And the fabric is great. But I can see it made in any fall fabric or Christmas fabric. Where do I buy the paper templates? Is that on lori holts website ? Or do you sell them here at your store? And if so where is the information so that I can order the templates if you carry them at your store ? Has it become old fashioned to use shushing between the blocks? Most older quilts have shashing.

You can always add sashing if you want to. It's your quilt so it's all about what you think looks great.

There’s no right or wrong way. That’s what I love so much about quilting. It’s your quilt, do it the way you want it. I didn’t do sashing for this quilt because I liked it better without it but I’ve done LOTS of quilts with sashing.
