I've done a fair amount of sewing. I used to design and make power kites. I have a semi industrial machine, that would be happy sewing vinyl. But I'm not comfortable making seat covers. His un-sat-on seat at least looks OKish.

My seat needs recovering and would love to do it myself. In defence of Del, (never thought I would say that) If, when I get to it, mine looks that good - I would be happy. Still got my mums Singer, I hope, needs servicing, but learned to use that when I was 6, (enter smugman.....) Versys (FUCK OFF) seat has a step though for the invisible passenger I never have, slight complication, but it's easy.. right DEL? ;)
