That foundation of moral teachings you speak of doesn’t exist in the millions of homes that subscribe to a particular belief. A belief of unreasonable conditions not only applied to women in their own families and communities, but one that extends out to all women of the world. We do have a responsibility to teach our own children the truth about what and who to stay away from for their own safety and survival. To only rely on those corrupt fathers to govern their sons to solve this problem would be tragic. Predatory behavior towards girls/women makes the blood boil in real men. though I think that the first action that needs to be taken is to establish a police force that is actually willing to investigate the crimes. The punishment for the crime can be much, much longer than it currently is but without police officers who actually take action even the toughest punishments are useless because no suspect will ever end up in court. Yes, I agree that the sentences are laughable but I think the bigger problem is the completely passive police service and the complicit social services.
@Ucanchokeonit4 жыл бұрын
Until women can practice what they preach and stop making false accusation, the sentencing Limits should stay. If not be reduced. America's justice system is founded on the principle that its better to let 10 guilty men go than put one innocent man in jail. Nothing has put more innocent men in jail than women.
@smallGatsby4 жыл бұрын
@@Ucanchokeonit If false accusations are your biggest concern, then altering sentencing limits will do little good. A conviction is a conviction and will be an impediment to career progression and also an obstacle in private life. The best thing against false accusations are proper investigations, insisting and upholding the principle of innocent until proven guilty and to convict only if the accused is found guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Unfortunately, forensic examinations are expensive but are valuable to serve justice properly
@Ucanchokeonit4 жыл бұрын
@@smallGatsby You are correct. The best defense against false accusation is good investigation. But, how can you consider any investigation into sexual assault in modern times of being impartial with no bias? The #MeToo movement flat out demands that everyone must believe every woman and every accusation! And they have no problem with using the media go crucify anyone that acts in the slightest way that they don't believe an accusation? The implied context of this is that "All women are telling the truth and all men are liars." This rationale is fundamentally flawed. It disgusts me that this is considered acceptable. Until men are given equal footing through the entire investigation process, and trial, then no, absolutely no increase should be made to the punishment for rape and strongly suggest opening dialogue about reducing them until equality is restored to the process.
@smallGatsby4 жыл бұрын
@@Ucanchokeonit Anyone who demands that any accusation needs to be believed is of course over stepping the line and I completely understand your criticism of the media. The first step towards better investigations is to take political correctness out of policing. There should be nothing in the police's curriculum/training that teaches the woke leftie virtues. If by removing politically correct content some slots become available, one could think about teaching more about forensics and how to secure evidence. It was political correctness that prevented the proper investigation of the "grooming gangs" (because men of a certain religion can only ever be the victims according to political correctness) and the MeToo movement or elements thereof make use of political correctness, because according to pc white men are so totally capable of being offenders. This ideology needs to be urgently removed from policing. I admit that I can't offer a solution on what to do with sensationalist media coverage. Maybe make it mandatory that should a person NOT be convicted after extensive pre-trial media coverage, the media must report on the outcome as extensive as it did during the pre-trial phase. In that case journalists may opt for a more neutral coverage.

The problem with situations like these, particularly in the West, is that much of society for the last 20 years has been so afraid of being considered racist, that these crimes can go unnoticed, unchallenged and unpunished for far too long. When you live in the UK, regardless of your skin colour, you abide by our laws or you get the gavel. I don't understand this oversensitivity to treat different ethnic groups as if they're made of glass - they're human beings, no one should be treated differently in the eyes of the law, and certainly not underestimated if there is criminal activity.

This will continue to happen until Westerners start realising their individualistic philosophy doesn't work. Sadly the UK has one of the most selfish societies, I've ever seen. In other words, become a replica of Pakistani (or Saudi) society... we'll finally get to the point where females of all ages cannot leave home without a male escort. Sounds about right? I agree... resistance to this behavior & lawlessness is not "far right"... I am "left". Freedom includes freedom of movement & security in one's personal safety. Without this, other freedoms are non-existent... freedom of speech, association, etc. After that's gone, what happens to democracy? It cannot exist either... at least for women. Because it is one thing for the lion to hunt the gazelle, it is another for the gazelle to go to the lion's den. The lion will eat the gazelle in either case, and the lion does not care whether it is this gazelle or that gazelle, whichever is the easiest hunt. Do not mistake the men's criticism of the gazelle going to the lion's den for celebration of the lion eating the gazelle. Men are simple creatures, for us, the easiest way to protect our young and make sure they're not eaten is to make sure they're not the easiest to hunt (because we cannot be there to protect them every minute of every day). Until the end of humanity, there will be lions, and the lions will always hunt and eat gazelles.

Just for following the man`s logic (who is speaking in the film from 30:00 ) for example: If at 2 am a naked 13 year old girl is on the middle of the street and a 30 year old man is raping her, it is the girls fault? I do not think so. Even if this unbelievable case would happen, the 30 year old man should ask her if is everything okay? (I guess not) Where are her parents, what happened? And he could take his coat and wrap it around her and take her to a police station. That is what a mature man would do.

So true. I hate that women will get arrested and prison time for prostitution since a majority of them are forced into this sex slavery and forced to work or they will die. And yet they get punished? And to think some people want to legalize prostitution which will only increase the slavery.. It's a gross world we live in.
@sassthathoopyfrood8 жыл бұрын
Legalising prostitution would prevent women from being arrested and getting prison time. It would also reduce the number of women forced into prostitution, because often when prostitution is legalised it's confined to licensed brothels, which can be heavily regulated, women would need to present proof of age and if there's any sign they're being forced into it police can get involved. Meanwhile this would reduce the profit motive for pimps to illegally force women into prostitution because clients would have an alternative to picking up prostitutes from the street.

@@teslagirl1 I usually don't say anything because I really don't want to identify my EGO with being a hero. I just feel she needs help and we met for a reason. She just started telling me everything and needs help. Her boyfriend is also helping her, and he helped her go to the police. I told her that I will never give up on her. She still has a lot of trauma and relapses often, but I remind her who she was before all of this happened, and I don't blame her for her behavior. I think the main issue is that only 25-30% of girls and women report their rapes and only 1% or so end up with a conviction. After doing a lot of research, running the statistics, and going to some awareness events, I see how we do live in a rape culture. It really breaks my heart that certain men perpetuate this violence. Maybe because they are underdeveloped in regards to understanding the feminine, or they were abused themselves, or simply indulging in evil. We definitely need to change society however. I am willing to do whatever I can to help. There is a lot of dark in the world, and of course a lot of light. I was always kept up at night thinking about this kind of thing and I felt the urge to start bringing awareness to what is going on, and then by chance we met and we started talking. She began dropping little hints, which I picked up on. It took a long time for her to open up about almost everything. I don't consider it lying on her part because she doesn't know who to trust. You are actually the very first person I have told about this situation. I guess I needed to vent about it all because it can be pretty heavy at times. But for some reason I can handle the burden. Stay safe and stay strong! ❤️
@teslagirl12 жыл бұрын
@@ADUAquascaping I am glad you said something. People NEED to have examples of how a decent human being SHOULD act. And some people need that kick to their conscience to motivate them to actually help...lots of people are great about expressing sympathy remotely...and will talk about how wrong such abuse is...but when it is RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM, they just look away and won't get involved. Not even after the fact, when a victim struggling with trauma and sometimes life changing injuries or health problems that resulted from what occurred, is in desperate need of a helping hand... a hand they are perfectly capable of extending, resources they can easily spare. I know a lady who buys comfortable but nice looking clothes and underthings, easy to get on and very soft, to bring to the hospital for rape and assault victims or trafficking victims to wear home. Some don't have family to ask...some come from families who hurt them...there are lots of reasons that there is no one to call on or a reason not to, reasons a girl needs these clothes. And the easy to get on part helps the badly injured who don't want help getting it on. I've helped her choose items, deliver them, even done a quick little needle and thread work by hand when something needed a slight adjustment. It's a small thing, but it's also a much needed one. Not every hospital has donated clothes or a charity that works with them to provide same when called on, and few that do make such good choices in the garments provided. These items were SO soft, so easy to put on...and there were slip on tennis shoes or flats to go with them. After what happened to them...and their ER and police experience...and finally getting to have a thorough wash and shampoo...sometimes additional days in the hospital for their injuries or a need for observation due to a head injury...getting new, nice clothes so they could go home with a little basic human dignity helped restore a tiny bit of each woman's equilibrium. For one girl, raped the day she aged out of foster care by a relative of her foster father, a man who wanted to traffic her, the clothes we brought her were the only clothes she had ever worn which were new...ditto with the shoes. Peg found her a safer place than the one she was living in...a room with a family. They saw to it she got to therapy appointments, arranged her to attend an i.t. program in a local community college, and gave her a wage for being a part time mother's helper. Today she's fully independent and thriving...but she says her new life began with putting on those new clothes.

Best comment so far in my opinion. We need to cultivate good culture. And it is the parents who must initiate that from a very young age. I don't think the parents from "that" community will give importance to culture.

@zeberdee19725 жыл бұрын
Bem Fawkes Its culture and religion yes , lets not forget the religion part as this happens in most muslim countries . How ever it is mostly Pakistani men which are doing this and that is a fact . You seem upset about peoples anger on here , far more than what has been done to these poor girls or maybe I just miss understood what you mean ? .
@DaniboyBR25 жыл бұрын
Culture comes from race. There is a white european culture, a Japanese culture, etc.
@eviken19825 жыл бұрын
In this case it has to do with race. Why white Britain girls and not muslim girls? Those Pakistani were racists to the white girls.

These women are so strong💞 this isn't easy. Every women that I know, my close friends, about 80% have been raped and/or assaulted and it's been a recurring experience for about 90% of those women. These women are so strong. I hope she has found what she needs to recover and grow from this.

The far right are the ones manipulating the issue to blame it on Islam which isn't the issue. These groomers are the ones going against Islam if you didn't know but the far right will refuse to see that.

I don’t know much about Islam, but I am a Christian, and there are quite a large number of men who claim to be Christian who sexually abuse children. I think these people intentionally use religion in order to gain trust. Extremely sad.

its a problem of cultural mismatch, most of these groomers are from countries where women even girl child is kept all covered and no respect whatsoever is given to the females of the family,The kind of freedom that females in Europe , Britain and US enjoy is simply not acceptable to these people and that is the reason even the father of the groomer blames the system, victims.
@genkiferal71782 жыл бұрын
supposedly India is one of the rape capitals of the world. Hindus blame Muslims for that, but it is probably both of them - though more Muslims do it, I have no doubt. Pakistan used to be part of India. Westerners need to stop making "being judgmental" a bad thing, since it is really just "using your better judgment".
@hollysielaff54536 ай бұрын
Totally agree. They see Western women as loose and therefore to blame for being abused and raped. Because we don't wear hijabs, travel alone and have basic human freedoms.

I lived in London for 4 years (im from Hungary) and one time I needed to go home with taxi because we worked in the restaurant until late night (at the time I was 22 years old), so the driver was very nice to me, asking some things, like where do i from, how old i am, do i like to live here.... etc etc. He was 40 something years old. I quickly said I live with my boyfriend, just to be sure. (I really did) and he still speak with me a lot, and in the end of the ride he said just call him anytime I want, he give me rides, no problems, we are friends. And we need friends in this country, because also he is from another country, (i dont remember where pakistani maybe). and just give him a call of i need, or if i just want to speak with somebody.... I was naive person always, but not that much, so I told my boyfriend what happened and he wanted to call him and have a little chat with him, but i said no, like lets not make him angry, who knows if he is alone or not (i dont think so). But I was so afraid that he did actually know where I lived. But thanks God nothing happened. If I look back now, maybe I would turn to the police, and give his number to them. Even if actually he didnt do nothing, and who knows, maybe he just wanted to be my friend. ..... Sure.

It's hard to image how it's possible for these things to happen. But even being a relatively "good" teenager growing up, I can see how some of the situations I was in could have evolved into this. I was very lucky. Young teenagers are very naive, and it's so easy for bad things like this to happen in today's world.

Parents need to be more vigilant, especially in Muslim dominated areas! The Muslim men, even educated ones (and women as well) are raised to believe it is okay to abuse women from other religions.
