"Have you ever thought about the number of fictional characters you've absorbed into your personality?" The Mortal asks, in an Innocent way, unaware of what I have done in the vain hope of becoming likeable myself. Unaware that my original being now pilots an ever increasing web of Sub-Personalities constructed from the remains of that which I have absorbed. I answer, "No." And for a moment I fear they will notice the portion of myself that has snaked its way down into yet another of my favoured fandoms to ensnare my latest victim. Their traits are absorbed, in a process that cannot be stopped. For a moment the Mortal is surprised at my sudden change of clothes, but I simply say "It's part of my Creative Process." And their suspicion falls away like snow from the branches of a Great Tree. That was too close. Although I swerved being caught, Once Again I've created an expectation I'll have to manage later. Once they are out of sight, I return to my Endless Cycle of Procrastination, Shitposting, and Writing a random amount of a random story until eventually enough is finished to publish/post an instalment. Such is life for a Writer.
