Having watched as many of his games as I could this season, his defending has clearly improved. He'll only get better since he's 20. Hopefully, I'm not overestimating him and he'll gain the confidence and experience needed to go nuts offensively (at least a little bit if he's afraid of being hated and targeted for nasty fouls or something) every game as he did in El Clasico and Canada (Nov. 2019)

mustang s550 I completely disagree with your comment but I somewhat feel that your trolling comment here asks for a rebuttal! Number one I don't think you can honestly state that "he isn't that good" as he was going up against arguably the best player in the world sir (forth highest paid player in the world for that matter)! Not uncommon for a great players to be great! Two, you can't take one game, whether good or bad, and make general allegations against him as you've done! That's unfair to this player and unfair really to any player for that matter as one game doesn't judge the characteristics of a player whether good or bad! I watched the match and he didn't do bad actually! He had a few plays where he got crossed up with some decent foot work by Mbappe but overall he did quite well! He had nothing to do with the first goal scored nor third or forth! The goal that was scored in front him he couldn't have done anything anyway as his body/momentum was pulling him in the direction of the play and the ball hit off of Pique's leg and unfortunately went straight to Mbappe! He kept up with Mbappe's pace very well and really only got 'exposed', as you've put it, once around 67min but at the same time Dest doing what he did on the play actually cut Mbappe off from the inside which removed him from using his right leg which TS then blocked the low attempt with his left! My point is you can look at the several different ways on a few of the plays where one can state he got 'exposed' but overall he did very well competing against one of the best in the world and he hasn't been back from injury that long if you actually follow him! I feel it's a bit of a broad statement as to what you've said given he's playing along side the Goat for Barca and doing quite well overall and you see a few highlighted plays of the game state "he's not that good"......troll comment if I've ever seen one!!! Hahaha👹

Such a shame he’s practically gifting BARCELONA players goals on a silver platter and they can’t convert, but that Speaks to the lack of confidence at the club right now. Amazing that an American teenager is a shining at such a monumental club though. I can’t wait to watch the young U.S players continue to develop. I always told my English dad and uncles that if America invests in young talent and encourages them to play in Europe, the rest of the world will be on notice. I hate to sound like the stereotypical chest bumping American, but we produce many of the best athletes in the world.. it’s exciting to see them turn up on the soccer (football) pitch.
