I'm honestly surprised that save files even have that much precision. I'd expect it to just be on the level of whole tiles, maybe half.

There's a lot of things in this game that are ridiculously precise for no real reason. An example off the top of my head is the amount of vertical offset applied to an object in a claw, that amount is unique for every object that can go in a claw. The only real reason this could be is so that the claw looks like it's gripping onto stuff anatomically correctly I guess lol

48:29 Not sure how that shell shifts over like that past the one way. Does it just do that? Or was there some sort of setup to get it to shift over onto your head?

TL;DR, it just does that. The exact reasoning is that when the block a shell is sitting on blows up, it gets both upwards and rightwards momentum. The upwards momentum you can immediately see as the bounce it does before falling. The rightwards momentum doesn't show until there ceases to be a wall to the shell's right.

Does anyone know a way to make adjacent invisible switch blocks without switching the blocks off?

There is a way to make blocks de-render from further away. You chain offset hardblocks up and right from the block you're de-rendering and then use the standard de-rendering setup with a hidden block at the end of the chain. If you do two chains of different lengths you might be able to get it to work idk

With all this talk about cameras and scroll stopping and stuff, I feel like Mario Maker 3 better take a hint from Levelhead, because it's way easier to control the camera and stopping scrolling. It's a shame that it's such a niche game that's gotten old; otherwise, I'd recommend it more because framing your shot is a big part of hinting and comedy that people don't really notice. Edit: Of course, that's not to take away from your skills; you're all masters at your craft, and I feel like, instead of romhacks, your skills would be transferrable to specifically level-making games, where there's a healthy push-and-pull between what the level maker allows for and what you can discover. Seems like the next hot stuff is Quest Master, which I'm gonna try out, and there's been some very creative jank already!
