Ulli Mulaku Chammanthi, simply called Mulaku Chammanthi is one of the favorite Chutney dish of Keralites. It usually served with boiled rice (Choru), Dosa, Idli, Kappa (Tapioca), Chakka (Jackfruit) etc. It can be prepared with minimum ingredients and it requires only few minutes of cooking time. Dry Red Chillies (വറ്റല്‍ മുളക്/ഉണക്കമുളക്) - 20 Nos (20gm)
Shallot (ചെറിയ ഉള്ളി) - 50 Nos (200gm)
Tamarind (വാളൻപുളി) - Small Gooseberry Size (15gm)
Curry Leaves (കറിവേപ്പില) - 1 Sprig
Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - 1 Teaspoon
Coconut Oil (വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ) - 2+¾ Tablespoons

ഇത് എന്റെ അമ്മ അസാധ്യരുചിയിൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കുമായിരുന്നു, കല്ലിൽ അരച്ച്. ഒരു ചെറിയ piece ഇഞ്ചി കൂടി ചേർത്താണ് മൂപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നത്. അപ്പോൾ taste പാടേ മാറും .... Superb ആകും.... പരീക്ഷിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്
