And we'll, hang out in the dive'est bars. In the corner booth, with other KZbin stars. Every good Patreon knows we'll wind up there. Everyone is still adjusting to Cheyleesi's hair. And we'll, hang out in the parts supply With the latest dealer minion and his reasons why. They'll get you any part with that evil smile. Though, even next day shipping seems to take a while. @@shadetreesurgeon I am dambed if I do dambed if I don't.. So I went back and watched some of the Videos I missed. Near heard a word about your break up in any of them till this one.. which didn't give any details.. So am I Nosey , or do I care about your well being.. I did notice how sensative you are when you were telling how hard it was loosing one of Jessicas Dogs.. I joked so now your not living with 3 dogs and 3 cats.. I looked on a Couple of Jessicas vidoes she says she has 17 pets. My last GF is 24 years old.. She would rescue every Dog , Cat , and Raccon she found.. Here in Michigan Raccons are so overpopulated they destroy Property and spread Distemper and other Diseases.. I run over them on purpose.. I had a pair of German Shepards that killed a few of them it was their Job.. but moslty they killed and ate Woodchucks.. Then I got a pair of Jack Russel Terriers . The German Shepards were Brother and sister.. Both got hit by cars and survived and leared not to cross the road finally .. Hidden fence worked for a few years.. In 3 years the hidden fence fooled them 7 cats came with in the 3 acred boundey and got killed.. Later when I resuced two Ferrel cats.. it was a huge job to train them not to kill my cats.. long stories.. how I did that and how they did kill the cuted wildest feller kitten.. Two females .. one had no fear and I could pick her up the first time I rescued her as my dogs had just spotted her.. They were living under steel trusses under a Tree that had a hawk looking for a meal too.. The other was wild and hid from me.. I baited it with some canned cat food.. when I tried to catch got my hands ripped up .. The next day put on the leather gloves and did catch it.. This little black kitten was so wild I had keep her in my shop bathroom .. Then one night it came up crawled into my bad and slept with me and her sister.. After that she was more like a domestic cat.. I let them out side but I had to keep an eye on my dogs.. Put the cats under a semi tailer they could get up in the frame to get away from the dogs.. I needed to go to town for truck parts before 5 PM and the little Black cat was playing that I can't catch her.. I was in a hurry so I figured she could look out for herself and left her outside.. When I came home I found the dead cat.. The dogs just left her laying beside my shop .. I tell the whole story because you were so sensative aobut your GF's Dog dieing .. then I see your GF or EX GF feeding the Dog Burger King and Chocolate ect.. they dog looked to be in pretty good shape maybe it had cancer or somethng, but I see she Euthinized where it was her choice when the Dog died.. I know a biker Gal who works for a Vet .. She is more than ready to Uthanize quickly.. My Mother had a horse that needed to be Uthanize she hired the local new Vet because her Vet for years was 80 years old and no longer worked on large Animals still ran a small animal clinic.. and had to take care of his wife. who is was Obese.. He was still riding Dirt bikes near age 80.. Anyway the young Vet didn't use enough drugs the horse was not dying and suffering a lot .. My Mother had to go and get a Gun to finish the Job.. I had an older Neighbor who was retired.. he was a heavy smoker and had had bypass heart surguery.. One of his Horses died and he wanted me to dig a hole with my front end loader.. Michigan is like FL Dig about 5 feet deep and you have water.. I was practially getting my loader sutck in the mud as the hole filled with Water.. I asked my Buddy Russ if he wanted me to dig a second hole for him. He always teased me about various things and I teased him right back .. We had that sort of banter but always did .. and no one ever got hurt by it because we knew we were joking.. He survied 3 Divorces finalcially some how his Son told me.. He owned a Boat Dealership for years.. then retired and had a Car Dealers Licensed and bought used cars to sell from a nearby wholdesale Car auction.. He had Trhee Children that I had never met.. Untill after he passed away from cancer.. He smoked for years but he was a Tight Wad and he quit smoking when Cigarettes reached $4.00 per pack it seems he told me when I asked him how he managed to stop smoking.. He simply said he would not pay that much for Cigarettes.. Too bad it's not that easy for others.. The date with the Goth Girl . She is attractive.. I can't say much about her personality .. would have to meet her in person and talk with her.. If you are looking for a mate.. I supposed it has a lot to do with personality , compatability mutual inerests and goals.. You can talk ask each other questions and discusss all of that on a date.. My last GF the 24 year old who rescues every animal she sees .. lives like a Pig and never cleans the Kitty Litter.. I rode my Motorcycle 7 miles in a very cold rain to get some kitty litter for me.. Your Jessica looks like she keeps the living conditions under control .. my ex did not and I could not have stood to live in such condtions.. She lives for McDonald's food.. anyone should know enough to know that eating Double Cheese Burgers fries and coke every day will kill you.. She feeds her 6 year old son the same and ignored any adice I had about Nutrition,. Also she had and has Panic attacks just looking at my Motorcycle.. "Going back to my comment on Compatability and dating" She said when she was 7 years old she was on the back of a bike with her Father and they spun out on wet grass in their yard and crashed.. She drives a car rather fast finally got speeding tickets.. I had perfect eye sight for years.. Now not so much . She would spot a Raccon or Rabbit int eh Road before I could see and be yealling at me to hit the brakes.. I will brake for Squirrels Deer Rabits ect.. but do hit Racoon on Purpose.. Of course I could never tell her that..

Man I TOTALLY get that thumbnail conversation. It really is the MOST challenging part of being a content creator. I 100% know before I even post a video if it will preform well or not based on my choice of thumbnail and "Clickbaitey" title. What some of these viewers fail to remember, we are story tellers. Master marketers, Videographers and editors. Adventurers, accountants, managers, and graphic designers. EVERYTHING about making free content for the entire world to enjoy is the ultimate high and the ultimate low. We live our lives and capture the process for the keyboard warriors to completely dissect, belittle and degrade everything we worked so hard for. And the fact that we keep creating speaks volumes of the good and supportive community that continue to choose our mini movies. They have always, and will always be the best part of this incredibly public platform. I loved this video man! Thank you for making it!
@TheUrbanEpicure4 жыл бұрын
My point was that when the vibe of the title and thumbnail is disconnected from the actual content, it will actually cost him views and minutes watched in the long run because people feel mislead - and I feel like that's the case with many of Josh's videos. He's not the type of guy who rides to 'get chicks', he does it because he loves riding. Well, the experiment failed, but I hope he gives it another try and maybe fine-tunes his approach.

Isn’t the thumbnail actually a frame from the video? KZbin creators aren’t doing anything wrong, some viewers {and they know who they are} are getting mad because they may have thought it was going to be about women and it wasn’t and they wasted their time because their Perves even though it is the same video either way I don’t see nothing wrong if it is from the video.

This has been a gritty and ratchet ass year. Thanks for the stability of two videos a week. Sending out good vibes your way, man! So what about thumbnails. I remember the irish spring soap commercials back in the day. Even though when I use their product and Irish girls dont appear out of thin air to scrub my nastiness away for a mutual benefit, I still like the soap and I still hold on to the hope that one day it might happen. Long story short you make a great product.

Try storing your torque wrench at 0 ft-lb. Storage under stress will throw off the accuracy.

Former Calibration Tech here, storing it loaded compresses the spring over time making it click early (things not as tight as you want them) so absolutely wind it to zero. Hell Britool torque wrenches are adjusted by adding or removing shims from the spring.

Had to recalibrate my click type torque wrench recently when the adjuster nut came loose. I calibrated it to the center of the range which is 75 ft lbs on a 150 ft lbs torque wrench. Decided to check it’s accuracy at various points above and below 75 ft lbs. I was really surprised how quickly it became inaccurate and by how much as you got further away from 75 ft lbs. Pretty discouraging I have to say. I wonder if those $500 snap on torque wrenches are any better.🤔

To me there is a lot of fake people / fake news/ info out there now to the point its hard to tell what is real or not any more. i like your channel because i don't get that with your channel and those you hang with. you just tell it like it is to me. i never found your vid titles very click baity, maybe a little every so often but always in a joking way so it never bothered me. i understand stress getting you down and not wanting to talk about it or just a little here or there. its fine. i have been fairly fortunate in life. i had a fairly good relationship with my dad , not perfect though. we are both stubborn , are way is best, and so on. one year on Christmas we got into it and it almost came to blows. we didn't speak for 6 months. that was over 20 years ago i was in my 20s. we got over it. we always could talk about cars trucks , the military and so on. he was the toughest person i knew. i know a lot of people say that . i remember he got thrown off a horse . broke several ribs and got back on the horse. he wrapped up his ribs and went to work at a Freightliner parts department everyday. at his service the pastor told a story a little after he got his defibulator/ pacemaker installed my dad was carrying a table to set some stuff on. the paster seen my dad grab his chest and fall to the floor. he feared the worst , ran to my dad rolled him over . my dad said "wow that thing really works". lol. i'm starting to ramble sorry , but your all vids help me personally process and focus , dispite all the current crap going on. i get the stress making you feel emotional and that you feel like you are talking to one person . i have said this before but when SaddleTramp rolled out his touring bike he just got out of his mangled garage and seeing it was ok...idk i got emotional with relief i guess , i still do and don't know why lol. ok i went on long enough lol. good vid man, 2020 is almost over so thats a good thing lol. ride safe.

I particularly liked your video Harley Tech Tells Me How Bad the FXR Really Is. I learned plenty from that video. I've been working on the bike over the off-season in hopes to take a ride with my Dad before his 70th Birthday so he can see the bike running in all its previous glory again. Dude...your content is awesome. I have been watching for over a year now and have turned many people onto your channel and they are never disappointed. The time invested in making content is not really known if you've never done it. It's a really time consuming process...from conception...shooting...editing...uploading...and responding to comments...its an additional full time ordeal. When doing content like you do...a glimpse into your real life...there are bound to be ups and downs. I think watching a channel like yours is a journey. Like getting to be a fly on the wall into someone else's life. So most of us go along for the ride for the good and the bad days. Keep doing what you are doing and know there are many out there that look forward to each video and are along for the ride regardless.

I remember logging onto AOL and the internet for the first time back in 1993 and thinking THEN that “People gonna need a thick skin for this shit.”

I get regularly shit on, in person, for having an AOL email account as my main. Maybe the weird looks are because I'm only 22 and should know better, but I just can't get the old " *dial up noises* You got mail!" outta my head.

Hey Josh. Your channel has been a saviour for me through this difficult year. Shade tree time is a chance to chill out and focus on something I enjoy.... good people and Motorcycles. My Harley is still in a repair shop after a woman didn’t give way to me back in July. So this channel is my motorcycle fix. P.S it’s a shame your friend John Maxwell is time poor these days.

How a person sees the world is the sum of their experience or lack thereof. The worse critics are the ones the criticize shit they cannot produce. I am not a shy person, but I am also not a social person. I live a part of my life through your videos. We do some of the same things, talk some of the same trash, etc.... I always get a kick out of how you make the most out of life. No matter what is going on in the background. I appreciate you and your content. Keep it WEIRD brother!!!! Good times always prevail!!!

Been growing through a good bit of loss myself this year, I like your videos where you show that you get sad and have to wear a happy face sometimes. When your going through that day after day its hard to remember your not the only one going through a rough time. Thanks for making killer videos and showing no ones always happy.

Shadetree, I don't comment much. I have been watching you for years. I understand what some of your long time critical viewers are trying to say. I gotta say from a family that normalized alcohalism and have a parent and grand parent that were bartenders. Trying to handle your feelings without being drunk is SUPER HARD. It takes some motivation and dedication to be able not let it drowned your feelings. I am sorry to hear all your struggles. Keep up the hard work and keep you head held high. You are a great guy and you make amazing content. Thanks for the journey. I will continue to watch and wee you evolve.

Josh, I'm an old biker and like you just like bikes, one of the Reasons i became a Shadetree Surgeon fan, to me you get it, it's about the RIDE don't matter if it's on a Harley, a triumph or a Honda, I'm a Retired Harley-Davidson Dealer Manager, Retired because i had several small strokes, but not here to whine about that, but in my way to keep busy after i got put out to pasture like you i hit the internet, and became a podcaster where i ran a classic music radio show every Monday night for almost 8 years, like your video's it took commitment to do 4-6 hours every Monday night, but we built the #2 Rated Show on the Program, but let me give you some advice DO YOU !! it's your talent and the way YOU do things that has your channel doing as well as it is, don't try to make everyone else happy cause you never will, make yourself happy with your content, seems you are doing well and have been for a group of time, So just keep doing what you're doing. Ride Safe !! and keep the shiny side up
@jamessouthworth16994 жыл бұрын
Dude, you are human. That's not a bad thing. That's actually one of the things I like about your videos is it shows all the same dumb mistakes we all do and it shows a lot more reality and a lot less polishing then other videos. Watching your videos is like hanging out with a friend.

Sorry you've had a rough year brother. Its been tough for everyone. I've been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer recently. I plan on making a pilgrimage to the shame in February to hang out. You've given me a greater love for motorcycles. Thank you.

I just wanted you to know I very much appreciate your videos...I bought a GL 1800 after not even riding at all for 27 years and you've helped me get over the fear of riding after watching a hundred other videos on how difficult riding a heavy bike can be...thanks again & keep em coming plz 😁

I found your channel earlier this year, and its got me through so many sleepless nights. I was slightly interested in motorcycles before but once I found it my interest just exploded.
