Anybody ever notice that from where Malus stands he can gaze directly into the shrine of worship? My theory is that Malus was the last guardian, and "the broken seal" savepoint refers to Malus himself and not the gate. Malus was the last seal, the last barrier to Dormin's rule, and he was about to be broken, so he can't guard Dormin anymore. Those bolts could very well be pointed to Dormin Hole...

I think behind malus there is some other entity if you notice almost every colosi behaves like they are on their own but if you notice the behaviour of malus it looks like someone is controlling him 100%

@@NomadColossus I like the ps3 version cause it’s ps2 graphics but better frame rate I still need to play ps2 version the full one I remember I discovered this game in a jampack disc and I loved it there was a trailer after I beat valus wich took me years lol it took me years to figure out and then when I saw the trailer gauis was in it and I thought he would be the final boss 😂 I later played it on ps3 then ps4 I have yet to play ps2 version I like how the case looks with valus in the cover I still have my og ps2 i was playing soul caliber 3 today actually

Someone's probably said something about this already (either on this video or a previous one), but one thing I find very intriguing with the way Colossi are designed is how smooth their movements are, even when turned via debug features. For example, at around 10:30, when you're rotating Malus around, his armor sort of slowly tracks onto his angle and location. You can especially notice these kinds of movements with the longer Colossi like Phalanx, or Dirge, or Hydrus, just how natural and free flowing their bodies are. It's such a subtle detail, but it's truly incredible just how well put together each of the Colossi really are, even with the use of hacks to manipulate them.

There's just something really cool about Malus. It's the way he inspects himself as he awakens, like he just got his power. Then there's the sudden raise of his arm, most Colossi move slowly but here his movement is quick..then there's the way he stares at you when you finally reach his head.

Even though I've played this game multiple times, I've never beat this guy. I always get right to the start of the battle, realize that after this I'll have completed the game, then turn it off and don't pick it back up for 5 years. I've played it like 12 times and and every time is still just as fun as the last. If you're playing PS4 remaster the replay value is in the trophies so you can defeat Malus and still play it again obtain the various achievements.

It always seemed a little anti climactic to me. He's an awesome Colossus, and I couldn't imagine any other Colossus as the final one, but thinking about it he's always been a bit anticlimactic to me. I still love him though, as with every other Colossi in this game.

To Nomad Colossus, I just discovered a glitch. (When arriving make sure that agro is on the bridge or else it won't work) Hit the 7th colossus weaknesses, DO NOT KILL THE COLOSSUS. Once the 7th colossus is underwater, get off of the colossus and swim towards the tower and get back up on the bridge. When you get close to Agro, you and Agro will teleport to a different area.
