OH MY GOD I was so happy when izzy said "I know" when Simon said he loved her, because I'm currently rereading cob, and he said to clary that he hoped when he finally told her he loved her that she would have said I know like in star wars. and. the fact that izzy did that was beyond perfect and further proof that clary wasn't at all meant to be with him like that. and oh my god when I read the fairy love storie from the "evil" mom's point of view I cried so hard. it was heart shattering. I also think James herondale and Matthew Fairchild are my favorite parabarti pairing . I just have infinite love for this Novela series.

As a Sizzy shipper I feel like you left out a very important part from Angels Twice Descending: "Secretly, though, a blush rising to his cheeks, he (Simon) would think: Lightwood... maybe. Someday. If he dared let himself hope." ♥ I loved all the novellas and I am so happy that Simon is a Shadowhunter now. He can be parabatai with Clary and be with Izzy. I really liked Alec and Robert's developments. I'm glad Robert is trying to mend his relationship with his children and the little blueberry will certainly help with that. My favourite novellas were the ones with the TID/TLH characters, but also Pale Kings and Princes, Bitter of Tongue and the last two because of Sizzy. Izzy's answer to Simon's I love you was perfection! About Stephen Herondale: reread City of Glass and the letter Stephen wrote Jace. It gets explained why Stephen left Amatis and married Celine instead. Thanks for another great video, Christine :)

I think my favorite was Born To An Endless Night, I love when George was like 'The baby can sleep in a sock drawer in mine and Simon's room' and then Magnus described him as 'The gougers idiot who wanted to raise the baby in a sock drawer with Simon' that was amazing. I adore Robert in this story, he's soooo cute with Max, I love when Simon teaches him how to use the timer on his phone and Robert says 'Thanks son' and when Magnus came back from feeding Max and Robert says to Max 'Where have you been little man?' it's soooo cute!!! I love seeing Robert as a doting grandpa, I need more in the next TDA book. I loved the White Chapel Fiend too, little James was sooooo cute! I adore nothing but shadows, my favorite part is when James wakes up in the infirmary and Jem is there by his side and James just launches himself at him and takes comfort it in him being there, and calls him Uncle Jem and it's so sweet. The Evil We Love was amazing too, I love learning more about the circle and Robert and Michael, it was brilliant!

I finished these novella's a while ago, I didn't want to read the e-books so I waited until they were out in just a big single book form and OMG! THEY GAVE ME SO MANY FEELS! The scene that I still laugh about TO THIS DAY is when Simon walked in on Alec and Magnus and Alec's just like "Leave. Now. Please." And at first Simon is like "yeah, leaving right now, didn't see anything, it's fine" but then he remembers why he's there in the first place and he's like "actually I can't, there's an abandoned warlock baby outside" and Magnus is like, "how do you know it's a warlock?" And Simon says "because he's blue" and I just... That scene CRACKS ME UP! On a sadder note though, my heart shattered when reading about what horrible things Robert said to Micheal, I couldn't believe the words that left his mouth but at the same time it was nice to see that in the present time he's trying to be better, he's trying mend his relationship with Alec, it's nice to see his character grow. DON'T GET ME STARTED ABOUT GEORGE LOVELACE! I had this sense from pretty early on that he wasn't going to survive drinking from the mortal cup but I didn't want to believe it... but then the closer it got to the ceremony, especially when reading that Simon considers George a brother I was just like "yeah, he's not surviving this is he?" and.... *sigh* I WISH I WAS WRONG! This is really long, I'm sorry, I just have a lot of feels :P

Why does no one ever mention when Magnus gave Simon Raphael's coin and he ask if he remembered him. This made me so sad because he says the worst part of losing his memories is feeling loss but not knowing why and who the person he lost relations were to him. Just ughhhh so sad!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone else thought that maybe valentine and Stephen had the same connection like Jace and Sebastion were? I was watching this video and I was thinking about the jace and Sebastion bond and I thought it would explain why Stephen did everything valentine told him to do and because if you remember Jace could act on his own when he was connected to Sebastion but if Sebastion told him to do something he would follow it blindly. It would explain how Sebastion new how to connect jace to him because valentine told him how jaces father was connected to him! I might just be crazy but both these two relationships sound oddly the same.

I sob cried when George died. I had never cried so hard, not even reading The Infernal Devices! I loved this book so much! I think I'm more ecxited about The Last Hours than Lady Midnight only because I freakin love James and Mathew so much! By far my favourite short story yet. I re-read the short story from The Bane Chronicles of James when he is older and really really want to find out what happened to him and who the main person of the story is going to be, like Clary Tessa and Emma. I love seeing everyone, it warmed my heart to see Jace and Clary finally in a happy place and Magnus and Alec with a child and Izzy and Simon FINALLY together. I enjoyed these stories like I would an actual novel. They were amazing and what I really needed. I loved all the little refrences back to The Mortal Instruments, all about the cup and how it should end where it started. I just had so many feels because The Mortal Instruments changed my life by letting me discover a love for books and wanting to be a writer. I can't wait for all the next series and all the characters I hope to fall in love with just as much as I had with these.

My fave novella was definitely the 9th one cuz we got to read from magnus' point of view and it was BEAUTIFUL. when Simon called him and George brothers I knew that he was going to take his name and when Simon said that George had it easy and the he didn't invite his parents I knew he was going to die and it broke my heart into a billon pieces.

I ADORED The Tales from Shadowhunter Academy, I loved Simon, I loved George, I loved all of his friends and the way that they interact with each other. I was really happy that we got to see more of Catarina in this, I'm glad that she was there. These stories we got to hear were so interesting, and it fills in some of the blanks with James Herondale, we got the story about him in The Bane Chronicles, so we know about Grace, and mostly how he got to the emotional state that he was in, but I can't help but think that his friend from the story that we got from Shadowhunter Academy had to have had something to do with it, right? He couldn't be feeling that bad if it was ONLY about Grace, right? I can't wait to know more about it. Oh, and my favorite was definitely Born to Endless Night. The scene at night with Magnus and Alec talking next to Max's crib, touched my heart. I bawled my eyes out at that scene, it was so sweet, to hear about how no one that Magnus had ever loved ever actually wanted to marry him. It's so sweet, and I'm glad that we got to see a little of Alec, Magnus, and Raphael in Lady Midnight. I can't wait for Lord of Shadows, and Cassie promised us a Malec wedding at some point!

I love the Lost Herondale, The Whitechapel Fiend, and Nothing but Shadows the most! And I think what happened to Stephen Herondale was that he was trying to join the Circle but Valentine knew about his lineage and about how Tessa is a Warlock so he basically uses it as his leverage to get Stephen to do whatever he wants. I think Stephen changes so drastically because he wants to somehow prove that even though he has Warlock blood that he is worthy of being a Shadowhunter I suppose. I loved your review I can't wait for Lady Midnight.

I do agree with the first story not being that good. I started reading it then I put it down and started reading Lady Midnight. I got a good chunk in that book. Then I saw the beginning of your lady midnight review because I wanted to know if you loved it as much as I am already. You said I had to read TFTSA first so I put Lady Midnight down and i picked TFTSA again and trucked threw it. I just had to get past the first few stories then I was so addicted to it!
