@@svenkonig6871 I mean I personally preffered it over how it has been in legion and BFA but if youre really interested you can try it out on any private server where they have free insta boosts to max lvl. ( obviously talents will be a bit different and no covenants, legos etc but the same core design)

As Paladin is the main char i always healed im really hyped for shadowlands. Since i always enjoyed maximizing dps as a healer weaving crusader strikes and deciding between Word of Glory and Shield of the Righteous (esspecially if the later stays on its own gcd) seems incredibly fun to me. That said i dislike holy avenger being changed since i also enjoyed the cooldown rotating palystyle that pala had in dungeons. Most likely that playstyle will still be intact even with the longer cooldown on it/changed functionality, and its probably objectively good to have more options in that row. Anyways i enjoyed the video and thank you for the work/great editing as always.

If you check dalarans vid on hpala the a couple of the ret Leggos work in holy an interesting one would be the extended wings duration from using hammer of wrath could be a really strong one for longer wings duration

Ret aura can be utilized efficiently. For example, you swap into ret aura, a shaman dies, you get wings, then the shaman uses ankh and comes back.

I wish they would give us exorcism back, instead of crusader strike. It felt way more awesome to use.

Looks good to me. I absolutely love the glimmer build currently after returning from a 10 year absence and the play style seems it'll be pretty similar in SL. Thanks for the video 👍

Thanks for the video; looks good so far - i think with more Haste HPal will scale off the charts. I was thinking of the Legendary+Conduit combo Uther's Guard and Echoing Blessing, which looks like it could offer insane %DR if stacked (i.e. 1 min Sac worth 20 secs of damage reduction). We haven't even seen the throughput conduits yet and the spec already looks excellent. Limit was raid testing with a couple HPals and they looked like they were keeping up fine in a 20 man setting. I like holy power, but would prefer they change Mastery back to the small shields (like Hpriest Echo mastery). That said, the active nature of the spec feels great regardless of mastery!

I really don't like holy power scuffed combo points system and forced melee dps gameplay aspect to generate it... Sadly this has been the holy paladin gameplay version for a few expansions now.

Yeah beacon does feel counter intuitive if your the only healer in a group your holy power generation can get limited just for the simple fact a lot of people in pugs have a tendency to stand in the bad stuff also great break down of how abilities work

Was waiting on this one, its my main alt on live :D Holy is so good right now, hopefully it'll stay relevant. And after seeing the video, yeah it will. Right up there against the Restodr00ds again for dungeons, possibly a little worse for raids since Glimmer was nerfed numbers-wise (and no vision procs), but thats alright. Some poor bastards will go Nightfae cause it'll be good numbers wise... But fuck that Im going full Kyrian.

Hey great vid! Two questions: If you holy shock your target that has beacon would it generate 2 holy power? Can your aura mastery while mounted (without dismounting) to benefit from crusader aura?

1. Nop, only Holy Light and Flash of Light generate Holy Power on beacon targets. 2. Yep, you can do that, sprint for your mount :)

To me, Retribution Aura seems like they intend it to be the 'filler' aura, which you use when the others are covered by other pallys. I think it does an okay job at that, tbh.

Not enough... I would love to see: New Aura - “Divine Blessing”- always active Bless damaged players by applying an 8 sec mastery effect buff on them. In addition players around the paladin recieve 3% less dmg taken and + 10% move speed. Selecting Divine Steed , Devotion Aura or Concentration Aura will activate Aura mastery and apply the selected aura to all players within 40 yards. P.S. Mastery effect isn’t the best thing and making us melee healers even worse. Atleast this way they can say we fixed it.

What Covenant Ability do you prefer for HPala? Divine Toll 1 Min CD is to long imho.

Well, devine toll is my fav, night fae is good for the blessings but it's something I wouldn't want all the time just for a few fights(covenants are fun right?) The other 2 just feel underwhelming. Ashen Hollow too long of a CD for what it does and Vanquishers hammer simply meh.

This looks like a DOA spec. Single tracked talents and no real options to take anything else for specific situations. Who cares that holy power was in Cata & WoD. They removed holy power for a reason didn't they? This class is OG and had its problems since Vanilla. But why not take what you have and build from there in stead of reinventing the wheel every time. No other healer has to deal with an extra resource on top of mana. I see you healing normals but I am wondering about M+ how does it feel if you test it in a SL +10. There are enough cases where you can't go in to melee. Why is BoV still like it is. There is no reason at all to take BoV even in bursting weeks it's a GCD waste and it's very weak. If it had a HoT component to it would become viable. Also it's hard for me to believe there is no senergy with any other covenant?
