Trauma Release Yoga / Neurogenic Yoga / TRE - Intervention to Release Upper Body Tension
It is recommended to work with a certified practitioner when you begin. Cool! My body indeed started doing a new tremoring pattern, like a twitching towards the ears and then a twitching of the entire arms. It felt new and good, like something else was being released now. Thanks!

@@Rollwithit699 to get started you will need to fatigue the legs. I have a yoga video designed for that or if you have an activity you enjoy. Once that is done you would go through the activation sequence (there is also a video of this in my Trauma Release Yoga playlist). Let me know if you have any more questions. 😃

Are there more interventions like this one? For me it's actually harder to really get the legs and feet to tremor. The most energy seems to be in the neck and upper back.

You can try a few things... inhale, hold the breath while tensing the front of the core (similar to the shoulder option) and then exhale, relax. Repeat 4-6 times and see what happens. This can help bring more movement into the torso. You could also reach arms to ceiling, inhale, tense the arms, exhale, relax arms to the floor, 4-6 times. Feel free to play with it and see what works for you. Your body will only move and release what it is ready for.

I am good in having lower body tremors, but it is not moving upward and im not able to get tremors on the upper body, may i know why?

That is very normal. Usually the tremors are in the lower body to start. Over time they move to other parts of your body when your system is ready for it. Just be patient with yourself.

I've been trying this for a few days. I got mild tremor in the legs and hips the 2nd day. Third day nothing. Fourth day nothing.

How do you know when all the trauma has been completely released?

This can serve as a weekly maintenance practice or work on old, long-held trauma. We are constantly accumulating stress, tension and trauma everyday - family, traffic, work, news, etc. The main thing is to tune in to how you feel. When using this tool you will become more aware of when your system needs a release (via tremoring). The key is to only shake if it is comfortable.

Thanks for reaching out. It may not.... it will only move upward if your system is ready to release in that area. I suggest you continue with your shaking practice and try this intervention every once in a while.... see what happens. Try not to expect a specific outcome or type of movement and just let things unfold organically. Let me know if you have any questions.
