A genius with demons. Story of so many brilliant musicians over the last few decades. It’s unfortunate for us, but I bet he felt like shit constantly, and is now at peace. All the name drops he does at the end, I picture him sitting in a pub with em, regaling stories together and having a pint. 🇮🇪😎🇮🇪

He liked America very much. His favorite songs he wrote were when he imagined America. He didn’t like American politics. He sad they were too blurry and inconsistent . That a republican in Ireland wasn’t the same as American Republicans. He loved Chicago and the South West. He rarely had a bad word about most things unless he was trying to get a person riled up. He was a total imp. A real sweet one
