44 points, 21 rebounds 7 blocks and 4 assists. Those numbers are insane. The only player I'd take over this prime Shaq is jordan. He was 3 blocks short from having a triple double that was 40+ points, 20+ rebounds, and 10 blocks. But still. 44 points, 21 rebounds, 7 blocks and 4 assist.

Joshua Haynes no center back in 2004 was close either you guys need to get your eyes checked and stop thinking every thing is better in the past. And in today's NBA DeMarcus cousins is more valuable to a team offensively. Cousins is a way better passer ( even tho Shaq is a good one too can shoot) a better shooter. While Shaq cant shoot two free throws to save his life he would get hack a Shaq every time and will not be able to play a full game if he throws elbows and everything. Don't get me wrong I know what Shaq can do and I know that he is better than boogie for sure.
@arsonhakobyan

@@lewismcrae4672 He wouldn't have the endurance to avg 50 in any era. Wilt had way more endurance than Shaq. And handchecks don't faze big men. The no handchecking thing disproportionately helps the guards, discourages the need for a big man. And w/ all the heavy-zones, wide open play and lack of conventional sets being played today, he just would not see the touches he'd need to consistently get into a heavy rhythm, even if he got to play w/ an unselfish wing like Lebron. He'd still be a very good asset, cause he'd crash the boards, get dunks, block shots, nobody would be able to move him, but he lacks the range + mobility necessary in today's game to see the ball often enough, to lead the league in scoring. Phil Jackson was expandable in New York cause no one wanted to run the triangle anymore, and then same w/ Jeff Hornacek, cause no one wanted to run the UCLA heavy 1/4 pick-&-role anymore every possession down the floor. Hakeem Olajuwon would be much more effective than Shaq in today's game, cause he actually had the mobility of a small forward to get out of traps, switch out on guards, and make plays out of nothing; could also be an affective face the basket player from 18ft & in. I think that Olajuwon would actually have enough skill to extend his range out to the 3pt line to be an okay (not prolific) 3pt shooter. Shaq can't even be an okay free throw shooter.

@@joshuafult84 Perhaps. He already was a good passer out of double teams by his sophomore season, something he struggled at his rookie season, though he never was one to force the issue, contrary to his image. 94 was the last season of his basketball life that he was in his youthful frame too. By 95 (yr. they went to the Finals vs. Rockets), he already was looking closer to his Lakers overwhelming behemoth-self than to that of while super bulky, gazelle type when starting out w/ the Magic at barely 300Lbs. As his shoulders widened, he became even harder to handle inside, but no longer could do the baseline spins or run the floor almost as great David Robinson. Still better than most, but not like an elite running & nimble center.

@@joshuahaynes7128 Did you even watch the 00' season!? Kobe was way more deferent to Shaq & Phil's traingle throughout the 00' campaign than 01'. Shaq was also in better shape in 00' than 01'. That was why they won 67games the yr before, but just 56games this yr. 01' was the 1st season Kobe came into training camp demanding to be a #1 option so he could avg 30 like Jordan. They were just lucky to put their differences aside and get hot towards the end, and run into a bunch of teams that were in turmoil, underperforming, and/or injured, and then a Sixers team that was arguably the worst to ever make a Finals. 01' was the season Kobe stopped letting the game flow through the Diesel.

am i the only one who's gonna ask the real question? why did Shaq go bald early in his career? i've seen countless footage throughout his Lakers years where he obviously has hair but its just cut extremely low and usually a lot of men do this when their hairline goes to shit so they just decide to keep the rest of the hair cut low, but Shaqs hairline still looks pretty good.

@@arsonhakobyan Shaq's more dominant than Wilt for the same reason that Jordan is greater than Wilt-pure dominance. Shaq's dominance is pure. He looked doninant even while playing a team game. Wilt only looks dominant when he plays selfishly. Once he stopped playing selfishly, he wasn't seen as dominant anymore. Shaq has a high basketball IQ. He knows how to dominate while playing a team game. Wilt doesn't. Wilt just pads his stats and brags about the records he set.

@Joshua Haynes shaq was the most dominant force of the 21st century there's no denying that. But shaq laziness, poor freethrow shooting and the clutch factor is why im taking kobe over him. And another thing is shaq needs someone to get him the ball kobe (or any elite guard really) doesn't need that.
