I bought this Hoover; the pet hair version in the Black Friday sales (we badly needed a new one). I watched this review first which sold it to me! In our household we have 2 adults, 2 children and 2 cats, one of which has predominantly white hair that shows up on everything! This Hoover is incredible, the anti hair wraps works for me I haven’t had to clean any hair from it, the attachment to clean the pet hair is fantastic, I use it daily. It’s like we have new carpets and flooring and shows my old Hoover just wasn’t doing a good job. I’d highly recommend it

I have found that my long hair still wraps around the brush but because of the open design on it it is very easy to remove. No issues with pet hair. So much lighter and easier to use and empty than my old upright. Was really impressed with the suction power. I can honestly say if anything happened to it, I would buy another.

I am in a quandry with this AZ910uk. I purchased on 13th Feb 2020, and I bought it from the well know electrical store. I find the machine very hard to push, and extremely hard to pull back when vacuuming. I have loose laid carpets and rugs, and the machine keeps catching the edge of them and will jam the machine, I see the red light come on and immediately switch off and un jam it. The electrical store won't take it back as it has been used ( you have to use it to find out these things) The suction is too powerful. Overall I find it is not fit for purpose, and I am so annoyed I have wasted £249 on it. I have been told by a friend who has the NZ801Uk that her machine has a reduce suction button. I wondered if you had this machine and if you would mind trying the handle of the 801 to see if it would fit the 910, as I would be willing to buy just a new handle to get around the problem.

Great video, been that impressed with the little Shark handheld cordless (WV251UK) we have ordered the AZ950UKT, to replace our Vax Air Lift Advance, we are a bit worried the AZ950UKT would be a bit big and not sure whether we should have gone for the AZ910UKT instead, but looking at Sharks website (Which isn't the easiest to compare models) the AZ910UKT looks to have quite a small waste capacity. I saw your video on the AX950UKT which is the same as the AZ950UKT but without the anti hair wrap technology, what are your personal views on the waste capacity on the 910 vs the 950? By the way we don't have stairs here, but we do have a dog and we will be using it to clean the cars too.

I prefer the version in this video as it’s lighter and easier to handle. Personally I empty the cleaner after each use or every couple of uses, so the difference in capacity doesn’t bother me. I would rather empty the cleaner more and have a machine that’s easier to use than a bulkier heavier cleaner that needs slightly less emptying.

Still no information and no tracking number, so can't even cancel my order. When they do eventually get a tracking number I'll cancel the AZ950 and grab another Vax Air Lift Advance (Quite impressed by that model with the 950w motor) and may order a AZ910UKT if they get their act together with the ordering process.

Got one of these recently, great suction and very adaptable. However its so unstable and falls over so easily when you are using the long wand, right pain. Also for an anti-hair vacuum it still gets hair wrapped around the roller brush within a few days of using it. Overall its good enough, but won't buy another when it dies.

Hi Roger. I’ve been looking, but haven’t found the answer yet. What is the difference between an upright with “powered lift-away” vs. an upright with just “lift-away”? I see the UV700 at Costco in the US, which says “performance lift-away.”

A lift away has a removable suction pod for above floor cleaning with a regular stretch hose. A powered lift away features a powered hose containing current carrying conductors that enable you to have a powered nozzle at the end of the wand or hose when in lift away mode. This can either be the main power nozzle or when supplied, a mini motorised nozzle.

High wattage machines are an intentional waste of energy. Vacuum manufacturers redesigned their motors to use more power by being less efficient. They were able to get away with it due to the massive amount of air passing over them to cool. They market by watts over there, but they marketed by the current in amps over here. Now virtually everything is 12 amps (1440 watts at 120 volts) and that is extreme overkill. I like Oreck's lower power designs.

@@ibaisaic Thanks for your response.Really couldn't move it easily and was very unhappy with it.Other issues included that the central weight balance meant it twisted continually, the main body fell over when the lift away part was removed,the lift away part couldn't be put on the floor and used without falling over and the hose was too short and inflexible. Took it back to Argos who wouldn't give me a refund as there was no fault and Shark wouldn't refund as it was "Buyers Remorse" and that all the pictures showed that you should only carry the lift away part!!Really terrible customer service from Shark. Eventually got my money back from a different Argos who said they shouldn't really refund me.Bought another Dyson and am very happy with that.

I tried this model. I’ve always owned cylinder vacuums so couldn’t get used to using this and returned it. I think if you’re used to uprights then it’s fine. I didn’t like having to wind and unwind the cable every time you needed it. Cylinder vacuums normally just reel in the cable. Also didn’t like that you can’t get under things like furniture easily as the body of it is quite big so you’re having to move all chairs etc all out from under the dining table when vacuuming whereas cylinder vacuums have a long slim extension tube that gets under furniture easily. For those reasons I ended up returning it. It’s very good at suction though. I just dislike upright style vacuums

Bought my first Shark cleaner a few weeks ago. Its quiet and picks up well. Im very disappointed with it as its an anti hair wrap, and theres always hair wrapped around the roller each time i use it. The description of it influenced me to buy this model, but its just like my old cleaner that i had to always cut the hair from the roller

Shark claim that their anti hair wrap roller is designed to work as you use it and will eventually remove the hair in time. I suggest you check it once a month and not after each use and see of the brushroll is covered in hair.
