I had a bamboo shark as a kid. They are a lot of fun but a lot of work because they can be sensitive to the tiniest thing if your tank is too small. For a bamboo you want 100 gallons minimum. A good size tank is do-able and there are cheap DIY tanks that you can even keep lemon sharks in, but if you really want to be able to look at them and keep them happy it will cost a lot.

Actually, that's because sharks have huge amounts of electric sensitive receptors on their nose and face. Those "hugs" are actually stimulating the shark so much, it causes it to get high off the massage. Either sharks hate it or love it. Blondie seems to genuinely enjoy it.

These sharks happen to be much smaller in stature and because of that, they eat much smaller prey and do not perceive humans usually as either prey or a threat to them. And because sharks often travel in "herds," they have a high group dynamic where they can be friendly to new "strangers" in their area, so long as their human companions respect them. Obviously, Blondie's herd is just as comfortable with the diver as Blondie is with him to where they don't feel threatened in his presence or think that he's somehow hurting one of their own, you can clearly see they're just swimming around Blondie and the diver, peaceful, not surrounding Blondie to protect her from danger or threatening the diver.
