Where is the speaker that makes its various operation sounds? When mine is charging it constantly makes a bunch of random beeping noises (while Im trying to sleep) so I want to remove the part of the mother board that is making those noises.

I feel like ive tried everything from your videos but can't figure out what's wrong. I am getting the flashing red clean with flashing red ! error on my RV720. I got my first one in 2018, and this error happened within 6 months so it was replaced. Now the replacement has lasted me 2 years and same issue again. New filter, took everything I could apart and cleaned it, etc. It will go for about 2 seconds and then stop and display the error

Thank you for the help with my 720 iRobot. Installed a new brush motor, the unit ran nicely for 3 minutes and then made the same grinding noise as before. Brush roller not spinning. Suggestions?

I have a feeling my brush roller motor is bad cause there was a bunch of rubber belt debris on the brushroller motor gear. It makes a weird noise when it starts like there is a motor problem too. I think it's definitely the brush roller motor. The only weird thing is, it does this half circle when it starts up, stops and starts blinking the dock button in blue. That error code means it's a cliff sensor. I cleaned all the cliff sensors and it still does it. Have you ever seen it behave that way with a blown brushroll motor?

Hey man, question... hopefully u can give me a quick fix answer. Can I just post it here or email u or what? I know you don’t exactly want to get into iMessage repair service or anything. I feel like I can fix most anything but sometimes troubleshooting can be the most difficult part. I have a Shark iON RV852WVQPR (so is that an 850??) anyway. Was making a horrible scrubbing noise and I had no clue what it was. I checked for this colorization around the casing for the motor and on the bottom of the channel under the bristles. I pulled both wheels and there was no entanglement or anything there. Everything seems to rotate without restriction. It is clean. SO, I discovered that when I remove the rotating cleaning bristle the robot operates perfectly fine with no noises or scrubbing. I replaced the bristle roller and the outer retaining case/clip thing I just started scrubbing again. So I tried it but just placing the roller inside and gently setting it on the floor WITHOUT the retention clip part. It works perfect. No issues except for the fact that there’s no way the bristle is sitting in there correctly and I feel like if it gets tangled on anything it’s just going to pull it out. Why would that retention clip because in the excessive scrubbing noise. Help man PLEASE

Brad Ball without the clip installed the brush doesn’t have tension on it so when it spins it works fine try running it on carpet without more then likely will make the noise could still be a bad brush motor or belt. But the clip could be worn out as well could try some Grease on it .

Hoping you can help me. Have a RV750 that will go for 1 sec then stop. The notification says it’s a suction issue but it will work in Eco mode just not in anything higher. It’s not the filters as I’ve taken those out just in case. Shark says I need to get a new one but this thing is only 15 months old

Sounds like it could be a processor board on the suction motor or the motherboard itself

Do you have a video on how to fix the sweeper arms? I am getting an error message that’s says debris is blocking the function. But I’ve cleaned everything out and the only thing I can find is that one of the arms seems a lot tighter than the other. I tried to pull the whole thing apart but can’t figure out how to get inside the arm motors to see what’s wrong.

Should fit right in unless you ordered the wrong one compare it to the other one and make sure the square head that the brush goes on is turned correctly

I suspect the one I got is a bit bigger. I could not make it fit. Is it possible to switch the motor in the old assembly with the Motor in the new one? I had it apart once but I can’t remember if the motor can come out.

Depends which ones your talking about. Motherboard has some , brush drives have some , suction motor has some.
