It's annoying when entrepreneurs come in and talk about how they've quit their jobs and had put everything on the line and the sharks tell them off. But then entrepreneurs who come in and still working full time jobs get chastise for "not being hungry enough, not passionate enough, not invested enough, etc."

This is so true! I remember some little girl came in with "Wanna Date" and they gave her crap because her dad helped her pay for her rent while she was a college student in NYC and also trying to start a business. So unfair. Mark ended up giving that girl a deal, I think, but still. The whole conversation was kinda rude, in my opinion. Either way.. I'm glad they got a deal!!

If you watch a lot of Shark Tank, Barbara likes to help people especially when she judged the enterpreneur is good at running their company. Even if she knew her money won't be back, she just want to help them if other sharks didn't invest. Barbara strong's point is her instinct. Its a really niche product at the end of the day, I mean unless they are actually planning on retailing these in africa there are only so many immigrants really looking to buy stuff like this. This type of business is more about grinding it out and building a strong community that actively buys this stuff rather than massively scaling and selling it to mass markets.
