He would have been a better investor partner, he's just not as skilled at making deals. He might be the worst of all the sharks at performing the actual deal-making on camera, and it makes me wonder how much of it is show-biz reality show silliness or whether he he really is slow on the uptake on stage. He's the oldest, so perhaps he gets tired shooting this all day!

@KiloBravo90
@KiloBravo90 3 жыл бұрын
It’s not about loving someone’s style. It’s you matching your product with the right shark. What that means is, a particular shark may be well versed with a certain niche as compared to another shark. If you actually look at the stats, Lori’s picks have been more profitable than most picks because she usually picks niches that are well aligned with her expertise. Being a billionaire doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to succeed at every business you invest in. You should see the losses that billionaires have incurred over the years in various businesses simply because of the knowledge gap. Nonetheless they deserve their respect.
@estoylaroca
@estoylaroca 2 жыл бұрын
@@KiloBravo90 I mean, it's only common sense that a billionaire will incur more losses... precisely because they have more money invested. A billionaire losing 1% is ofc more than a millionaire losing 1%. That said I really want to see where you saw the stats where it indicates that Lori's picks have been more profitable. I want to see whether they were more profitable in *TOTAL* , like out of 10 businesses Lori had more profit or whether as "percentages" more profitable, like 5 out of 10 businesses are up in revenue.
