He might be the worst of all the sharks at performing the actual deal-making on camera, and it makes me wonder how much of it is show-biz reality show silliness or whether he he really is slow on the uptake on stage. He's the oldest, so perhaps he gets tired shooting this all day!

Mark was fine with 500k for 7% for him and Lori. But as soon as the guy said 8%, Mark caught on and immediately countered to 10%. If the guy would've stayed quiet a bit longer, he could've got them both at 7% !! Lesson: if you show signs of weakness, smart people like Mark will pounce all over you !

Obviously he would have a clearance from other investors for him to be able to do that. If not he will hold 0% after a few rounds of bringing in capital.(I think)

Kevin and Lori were the perfect pair for this guy. Kevin worked with Plated through their tough times and got an acquisition deal. Walking in starry eyed about Cuban b/c he's a billionaire was short-sighted, considering he doesn't know this space at all. Kevin gets all the flack for being 'greedy' but in actuality, Lori is the sharkiest... she'll ditch anyone on a dime to get a deal and she still comes out smelling like roses. Haha! She's fun to watch.

Meanwhile whilst 9 days sounds good, the problem is when he talks about going directly to offices, that means he has a distribution problem. Add on to that, covid, means that alot of that money is now wasted, and he has to figure out a whole new route to market. There is ALOT for the Sharks to do here.

It’s not about loving someone’s style. It’s you matching your product with the right shark. What that means is, a particular shark may be well versed with a certain niche as compared to another shark. If you actually look at the stats, Lori’s picks have been more profitable than most picks because she usually picks niches that are well aligned with her expertise. Being a billionaire doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to succeed at every business you invest in. You should see the losses that billionaires have incurred over the years in various businesses simply because of the knowledge gap. Nonetheless they deserve their respect.

A billionaire losing 1% is ofc more than a millionaire losing 1%. That said I really want to see where you saw the stats where it indicates that Lori's picks have been more profitable. I want to see whether they were more profitable in *TOTAL* , like out of 10 businesses Lori had more profit or whether as "percentages" more profitable, like 5 out of 10 businesses are up in revenue.

Kevin always has the most balanced deals where the shark doesn’t get what he really wants and the entrepreneur doesn’t get everything he wants, its a good compromise at least they leave half happy. most people just get scared when they hear debt and interest.

An above $11 mixed salad, with a 9 day shelf life? Lest I mention the percentages of ownership, loss of annual profits, increasing logistic prices ($1.48 a litre today!) and ....debt. That’s ludicrous!.... I just, simply, ... don’t see it. Honestly.... I prefer ‘tossing my own salad’. My wife helps during Christmas and Birthdays.

Yeah even $10 is too much for a 1 serving salad. I looked them up thinking there might be 2 servings in that container, but no it's only 1 serving. I don't know why anyone would buy that vs other cheaper premade salad options, or just making their own salad.
