Being an eloquent public speaker and being a PM/Prez are different things. Shashi Tharoor is a very good personality & has made India proud many a times, no doubt about it. But politics is a different arena. Here one needs public connection and clear vision/roadmap about future of nation. There is also a factor of trust & intent. If everyone is judged on same yardstick, then Elon Musk, Rahul Gandhi, many academicians would be made PM/Prez of their respective countries, but that's not the case. Being able to provide political stability i.e. controlling the peers in govt is also a factor otherwise there will often be coups. And this is not everyone's cup of tea. Nevertheless, India needs people like Mr. Tharoor in big numbers to enhance its national capability.

I think his best fit as the minister of education either in kerala or in Central. Unfortunately his party lost the election and we end up with ministers like CPM activist Sivankutty in kerala and ABVP activist Smriti Irani or - Dharmendra Pradhan as Central education ministers due to our current Ideology or Fascism mind. We always choose what we deserve. Our future generations should be able to think free with critical mind for a better India. Jai Hind
