Why Saudi though? People need to realize that Saudi is far from a good example of a Muslim nation. Muslim Women in Southeast Asia, Turkey, Egypt, and Iran are thriving and successful. There's 1.8 billions muslims and Saudi only attributes to 1.6% of the muslim population. Many of Saudi's government policy are contradictory to what the Prophet PBUH instructed. Saudis need not run or do some sports to get into Uni or College scholarships. The schools are absolutely free and in fact they are given monthly stipends just for attending schools. You need to do these stuffs because you are financially unable to give free uni or college educations to everyone and only those who excell in sports can have free education, the rest they wallow in student debts!!!

On the contrary, in Islam everyone (men and women) is encouraged to go to school, to educate themselves, women can work if they want to and if they prefer to stay at home, they can also do that! For example, did you know that Khadijah, the first Muslim woman (she's the prophet's wife) was a successful businesswoman? Please, don't let the media give you a bad image of Islam. Some groups (probably like the one that didn't let girls go to school in Vietnam) say they follow Islam, but actually don't respect its principles.
