I've been a She hulk fan forever. The series will be fine..it's been a long time coming for She Hulk to come to Marvel.. I love this..yes CGI needs work but it looks fun.. Edward Norton has it in his contracts that he has a measure of creative control. Universal agreed to this and when he wanted to pull from some of the darker comics Universal panicked and just made him make the movie they wanted. For instance, Mr. Norton wanted to open the movie with Bruce in the Arctic placing a gun in his mouth and pulling the trigger with the Hulk spitting out the bullet. The studio was afraid of showing such amazing visuals along with the desperation of 1 man. They later have Mr. Ruffalo mention this in one of the Avengers movies which is really just a slap to the face for Mr. Norton. He should never go back on principle alone not to mention the contract violation,

Thought people would know by now that creating a totally photorealistic human in CG is hard. It took between Hulk(2003) & Avengers to finally get the Hulk right - She-Hulk is even harder. She’s both normally & abnormally proportioned at the same time, THEN you have to add the actors face to the body, THEN you have hair, ☝🏽THEN the fact that she’s green. It’s sends alarm bells off in your visual judgement. Your mind has no real world reference for something like that

On the topic of "Incredible Hulk", they did acknowledge that film more during Phase One. Other than Downey's cameo in the movie itself, Ruffalo's Banner does say that he "broke Harlem", and both "Iron Man 2" and the first "Avengers" movie feature footage of Hulk at Culver University. After that, the references to the movie definitely diminished, though it did help bringing back the late William Hurt as Thunderbolt Ross, though he never once references his fuck-up in Harlem, when addressing the Avengers' major disasters haha. Bringing back Tim Roth/Abomination in "Shang Chi" and now "She-Hulk" is welcome continuity for sure!

I was a kid when She-Hulk (Savage era) was first animated on The Incredible Hulk cartoon in the 1980s. Also I remember she almost became live action with promo photos of swedish actress Bridgette Nelsen in make-up and wardrobe (convincing look too). When she became 'Sensational' and stayed in her form, that was very hot. 30 years plus later and she's finally here. This does look good and balancing Jennifer Walters' life is exactly what I want to see work.

For those that don't know, universal still owns the distribution rights for the Hulk, and they did not want to play ball with Marvel. Hulk appearing in other movies and shows is the workaround.

I dunno if the Multiverse is going away per se. Given what they're introducing, and how they're introducing them.... I definitely can see them leading to a loose "Secret Wars" adaptation a few years down the line, which is definitely predicated on the concept of the multiverse. Even though it's only been 2 years, there's so much more MCU content to take in now both on TV AND on the big-screen. They're still at the stage of setting up the pieces/characters who will more than likely reappear later in other movies/series/crossovers. Phase 1 took four years to get to "The Avengers". However, every year only featured maybe 1 or 2 movies (before 2020, 2009 was the only year NOT to have an MCU release since the beginning). Now, we're getting almost 3 movies a year AND 3 to 4 TV shows.... So the appetite to see what everything is building to is a lot stronger.

Newspapers in the Netflix shows entitled, "Harlem Terror." Banner himself refers to the deleted opening of TIH where he attempts suicide. So, IT'S CANON.

For me, if they use the Multiverse to bring back some of the best elements of past movies (like they did with 'No Way Home'), I would like it. An example: William Hurt unfortunately passed away, but if they could find some way to bring Sam Elliott back as Ross, that could work.

I've been excited for this show ever since it was announced. I'm pretty iffy on the CGI on She-Hulk but I acknowledge it's not really easy to bring her to life in such a way and we still have three more months until it comes out. Hopefully it will look better by then or the writing will be so good that I won't care. Everything else looks super promising! I mean we are still getting She-Hulk in general. Enjoy the grounded, more comedic tone it's going for, the cast looks very solid (especially excited for Tatiana Maslany and Jameela Jamil), and they improved the logo! Still really looking forward to it. Hope it's really good.

Also I'm confident Maslany will make a great Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk but another actress I would have chosen would be Sarah Butler from I Spit On Your Grave series. Also as far as Matt Murddock making an appearance. Not so sure. Remember he from New York City while Walters across the US in LA.

Of course The Incredible Hulk was canon. We saw news footage of it in Iron Man 2, the climax in Harlem was referenced in Avengers, General Ross was brought back in Civil War and What If? recreated the film with Mark Ruffalo. It's also been included in all Phase One box sets, plus they even made one of those one-shot shorts with the express purpose of making the Tony Stark cameo make any sense in continuity. This show is not breaking new MCU ground by returning to that film at all.

Damn right it was canon. You know because of the multiverse. They could if they can buy the rights. Make a Hulk movie with a younger Banner and different cast. We technically can get what we want thanks to the multiverse effect. Just the studios have to buy in.

Daredevil is pretty much confirmed to be in she-hulk. The one character that I want to be in this that I don’t know if she will is Jessica jones their was rumors about her being in she-hulk so I would be hype 💯💯
