Hello everyone! I'm going to start posting videos again (slowly). This one is from my pre-admission texting before my brain surgery. I promise I will get to current day at some point. Current update: I am still healing - still going through vestibular and physical therapy. Thank you for all your encouragement and support. You have been so wonderful and I appreciate each of you.

Thank you. I don't have claustraphobia - if I did, I think it would be a lot worse on me.

Your mom’s prayer was lovely and so timely… thanking the Lord for laughter. Hope that you’ve enjoyed plenty of laughter and many reasons to smile since we’ve last seen you. It’s heartening to read your replies in the comment section. Can’t wait to see you. 🫶

Stay strong! It does get better. I had vestibular nerve section surgery on the 12th of December 2022. Took me around 2.5 months before I could return to work, I still have dizziness even almost 8 month after surgery. I also had my surgery done in Louisville, awesome doctors at Norton and Jewish. I wish you the best on recovery :D

Menieres disease has nothing to do with the ear itself. The vestibular nerve section surgury eliminates vertigo by clipping to nerve to the brain that causes vertigo. The vertigo is 90% gone for me. My doctor said it could take months for my right side to fully compensate for the left side. While the surgery does eliminate or mostly eliminate vertigo, there is no cure for menieres disease. Us with this disease can only hope that it doesn't start affecting the other ear.

Thank you so much, Trevor! And thank you for sharing your experience! It is so helpful to hear from someone who has been through the exact same thing. It takes such a long time to heal and for the brain to compensate. So I can see why you'd still be having dizziness 8 months post. How wild we had our surgeries in the same city! My neurosurgeon was through Norton.

I remember you telling me about that nurse at that time in privat indeed. Good to see that at least you had your mom with you at that appointment so you didnt have to deal with it all alone. I remember being slivhtly worried about that back then as i know you go to these appointments alone zometimes. Some people chose the wrong profeccion, right?! How can a nurse be so rude and ignorant. Have you complained about the insident to that hospital? So tge woman can be corrected in her behaviour? Wow! You speak Spanish?! How cool is that. ❤️ Sorry to her people where once again ignoring the fact the you should t pet a servicedog. Your mom is cute though about it. 😀 We are looking into some alternative dog breeds as a dashhund might not be the right fit for us. Ofcaurse the cavalier comes to mind but i hear allot that they are prone to medical issues. I wonder how your and your parents experience is with that? Big hugs again. Marloes ❤️

Thank you - you are always so incredibly supportive. I've had 5 cavaliers including Dash and they have ALL had medical issues. My parents' dogs have been the same way. Cavaliers are so friendly and good companion dogs, but their health issues can be rough. And that can get expensive! I"ll brainstorm about a dog breed for you. Let me know if you decide on one. Hugs!!!
