We live about an hour from Lancaster, and have always enjoyed visiting, Amish country. The people are so gracious and we love the animals and the homemade foods. Just a great experience. My husbands trailer he pulls with his lifted Jeep isn’t much bigger then that little “dog” trailer lol. But his is meant to be pulled thru all the 4 wheel drive places he likes to camp at. It’s basically big enough for two people to sleep in. We cook, potty, shower and hang out outside of it.

I am in eastern WV. When I seen in the previous video that you guys got stuck in traffic on your way up to Pennsylvania, I thought.... wonder if they were on interstate 81 through my state...? For some reason, the handful of miles that I-81 goes thru West Virginia is the absolute worst! There are accidents that back up traffic for HOURS almost daily! Priscilla- I've lived in WV my entire 41 years and I have always loved the southern part of PA! The best way I can describe it is that it is just soooo green! Farmlands still seem to make up the majority of that area and my hometown has definitely been developed a LOT for the influx of people moving here from northern VA. (Live here, work there...) We have a meat market about 2 minutes from my house that is ran by Mennonite families. The meat we get from them is beyond good! It's typically a bit cheaper than grocery stores but if not cheaper, it is the same price. It can be a long line to wait in around certain holidays but quality is unbelievable! (I say "long" but the trip there has never taken me as long as it takes me in any grocery store to grab burger, sausage, steaks, country ham... so not incredibly long...) So great to see y'all enjoying a bit of a "slower" trip! Enjoy and safe travels!

I can only imagine that more popular places can be overwhelming (crowds, noises, etc.). What is your way of planning activities specifically designed for Abbie? Do you just take her along with you? If I may ask, and I realize we only see you know a few minutes out of the day I get that, do you have ever you use her communication device for example on the farm tour that she has for example eggs or chicken or cows or cat or each animal as she greets/interacts with them, as you did with the horse in the previous video. ? I’m asking because my grandson who is a couple years younger than Abby, who is also autistic ( verbal ), but during these summer time when he’s not in school I frequently get pushback because he knows it’s not school time and he doesn’t want to hear about learning during his summer. Even with his chores he is not motivated. I’m just interested to hear your thoughts on to introducing new words on a daily basis, or how much do you let it slide because our children are on summer vacation”? Hey percilla and Asa u guys should try to come to Winnipeg.,Manitoba and our town is big and lots of different roofs and stores u should come and see and also abbie might have a reaction to the roofs and Winnipeg, Manitoba is a nice place to come and see but we do have sometimes have a nasty heat wave and some rain but I think u guys will like it in Winnipeg, Manitoba but there can be some loud noises that might scare abbie but I know she will be okay and safe here and we have cops that walks downtown and we also have cops driving around to make sure every one is safe and we have 711 that serves slurpees of different flavors and good healthy restaurants to eat at and lots of take out foods too. Try going to Walnut Creek for some good cheese which Walnut Creek is in Ohio also try Sugarcreek Ohio they have the worlds largest cuckoo clock in the town Square and Sugarcreek and if you go south of Sugarcreek go to Dover Ohio they have a carving museum is called Warthers carvings and if you go a bit more south of there go to Dennison Ohio to the Dennison Railroad depot in Museum this is all in Tuscarawas county Ohio but between Dennison and Dover There is a city called New Philadelphia they have a small amusement park and a 1700s village called Schoenbrunn it’s a walking tour it has the first school house in Ohio highly recommend going and seeing all these places in Tuscarawas County
