Back in the early 80’s my friend was a freshman in college when she lost her Dad, and was diagnosed with MS. She sent Stevie a fan letter, and Stevie sent back a handmade card with letter. The card was so Stevie, ribbons, feathers, so special❤️❤️❤️

This is the best version of this song. That whole concert was fire. The song is actually about the death of her uncle and the death of John Lennon, which happened fairly close together. Between her work in Fleetwood Mac and her solo career, there's a list a mile long of songs to check out. In Fleetwood Mac, the top choices would be "Rhiannon" Live on Midnight Special, "Gypsy", "Landslide" and "Silver Spring" (I like the version from The Dance concert where you can witness daggers flying from her eyes towards their guitarist haha). The first time that Stevie Nicks laid eyes on me, I actually was on the edge of seventeen (the trailing edge). It was 1976 and she was twenty seven but I was definitely smitten 😍. I was on the edge of the stage right in front of her (she even spoke to me) and she was the most amazing woman I had ever seen.
