Props to you my man, I've rarely seen anyone actually have an ear for Tatiana's lyrics. Not only that but actually able to understand what she is saying rather than just noise to your ears. One of the best Green Serpent breakdowns I've seen yet!

Love your reaction man. you are actually intelligent. You understand poetry and symbolism, unlike most reactors.

yes, Tati is certainly quite the poet. i've always been impressed with her ability to turn a phrase.

I just love it when a rap fan with a good ear for lyricism analyses metal Lyrics, cause imo in very different ways both Metal and Rap have some amazing lyrics. In rap lyrics are so much more dense, that rap fans with a good head for lyrics can analyse lyrics so well. Thanks for the reaction. As far as I am aware Tatiana writes the lyrics in Russian and then translates them into english, which I think is one of the reasons for the more shakspearian/ metaphorical style of her writing in English. She really tries hard with the Lyrics, which is also one of the reasons she tries to make sure her Harsh Vocals are well enunciated, because she wants people to get them. Also on the singles of the new album so far most songs (excepting Rogue, which is all Harsh Vocals) Tati's cleans seem to have leveled up. She has been showing so much versatility in her cleans. More Head Voice. It's making me really hyped for the new Album

Yeah, while Rap is not my favourite, the reactors with this background are tip notch when it comes to lyrics and depicting them from first listening

In Slavic culture, the green serpent represents alcoholism. Tatiana has been sober for 2 years and in a recent interview she has said this is a very personal song to her because it is about her struggles with alcohol. I believe that’s why the music video only features Tatiana without the rest of the band. Awesome reaction!

That's good to know, thanks for sharing!

I think in Russian it is specifically vodka (which isn't made from grapes.) I don't know if the tradition goes further back than Soviet-era anti-alcohol propaganda posters, which featured a green snake.

You got it. Tatiana is two years sober so it's personal to her. The grapes move a little sometimes when she moves her arms but I think most of it outside of that is probably generated.

Great reaction, sir! Perfecly on point. In june I'll see Queen Tatiana and the boys live here in Italy for the fourth time and I cannot wait for that... Thank you very much, cheers.

Great reaction, thanks man. Loving the way Jinjer is going. Would love to see you break down "Daughters of Witches" (yes the drummer is blindfolded) or "VHS" by Freeze the Fall - a very awesome young band from Canada (very reactor friendly). No heavy vocals but amazing heavy rock. Cheers from Australia!

lol Green Serpent is metaphorically referred to alcohol in russian. Bitten by green serpent in slavic tradition is symbolic of alcoholism and the depths of intoxication/addiction.....as for the song, the opeth outro is cool. Middle LOG breakdown is cool. Also kinda sounds like an angular proggy album cut on first listen, but quickly turns out to be a banger.....also tati looks hot here 😂😂 Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance) Jinjer - Call Me A Symbol (Official Live in LA)
