This one is quickly becoming my favourite because it is really a brave song about people struggling with alcoholism. As already mentioned the "Green Serpent" is an Eastern European metaphor for alcoholism. (Tatiana has posted about her sobriety). She and the band have a lot of talent and their compositions are driving the evolution of metal but it takes guts to expose one's struggles. Great reaction (Subbed)

You know the combination of Roman and Eugene is out of this world. Roman doesn't get the recognition for the parts he has to do. It's like playing 2 guitars and blending in with the bass. It's extraordinary 🤟🤟. This song pretty much displays that. Not taking away from Eugene at all. But both of them together is the best combo, I think to this day, ever to play. Just beautiful Gus 😂😂. Nice take and reaction!. Rock on🤟🤟

This is next level Jinjer. Tatiana is singing in a lot of higher, sweeter range of cleans that we don't always get to hear.

That is the best mix I've heard Max Morton do. Chills from the last section especially the way she enunciates the last word. It's beautiful. Just when you think Tati's given us all the vocal tones she has to pull out she comes out with more. Another reactor said about the band when listening to this song "they don't give a shit about your expectations". True but that's part of what I love about the band personally. Throw me curveballs. I'm ready for them. The snake is a Carpet Python. It was probably afraid of her at first but got used to it clearly.

This is a new level of Jinjer. On a The Warning Wednesday? Jinjer helped me find my two favorite bands. One scratches my metal itch, and the other scratches my rock itch. I've seen Jinjer live and Tati is amazing. They are amazing. Roman, Eugene and especially Vlad are incredible. This song has been stuck in my head for weeks.

Haha! Jinjer on a Warning Wednesday! Yeah, we’re evolving the channel a bit. We will def still do Warning Wednesdays…it just won’t be EVERY week. Jinjer is so damn good. I mean, Tati gets a whole lot of recognition, and rightly so….but the band can NOT be slept on. They are phenomenal. Such a killer band. I def gotta see them live one day! 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽

I love this song, great chug. Then I love that Opeth sounding bass outro.

Like this song a lot, "someone's Daughter" is still my favorite so far from the upcoming album, but this is right there. 4th single from Duel, "Rogue" and "Kafka" are the 2 you don't have reactions for yet. "Rogue" is all harsh vocals.

Great reaction! It's such a pleasure to watch someone who "gets" the music experience the emotions it brings. Subbed. This is some of my favourite vocal melodic composition from Tati, & I love her extensive use of her *gorgeous* head voice to hit highs in this piece, a part of her vocal repertoire that we've heard very little of before now. The section with the combined guitar & bass tapping with great tom drum groove is incredible, & I love the Opethy outro. Even the stripped down, simple chuggy riffs in the last two heavy sections are a welcome addition, as Jinjer fans usually have to struggle to head bang to Jinjer's weird rhythms & unusual, shifting time signatures (which I also love, of course). This is a *great,* *beautiful* song, destined to be a Jinjer classic, IMO. This is the most accessible of the 4 singles released to date from their upcoming new album, and it's currently my favourite. Currently tied for 2nd are "Someone's Daughter", which is quite melodic and heavy for most of the song, with a brutally heavy ending, and "Rogue", which brutal from start to finish, with all harsh vocals (the only all harsh song I like so far). Third place is Kafka, which is also melodic and heavy for most of the song with a brutally heavy ending, but this one has a more sombre tone, very intellectual lyrics, and a blast-beat-heavy, death-metally ending. They're all excellent, with "Kafka" and "Rogue" being less accessible.

The band's music generally doesn't have a verse/chorus structure -- Tati's lyrics impose that. "Pisces" was (of necessity) an obvious exception.

lol Green Serpent is metaphorically referred to alcohol in russian. Bitten by green serpent in slavic tradition is symbolic of alcoholism and the depths of intoxication/addiction.....as for the song, the opeth outro is cool. Middle LOG breakdown is cool. Also kinda sounds like an angular proggy album cut on first listen, but quickly turns out to be a banger.....also tati looks hot here 😂😂 Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance)

The band were inspired by Opeth -- Tati was inspired by Otep 😉

You can definitely hear that Opeth influence. So good! And as for Otep…I used to really like them, until I had the chance to play with them a few times. After the last time, I was happy to not be around Otep again.

Haha. Be brave. I love Chaney Crabb. Been a fan of theirs for a good 5 or 6 years now. But we haven’t had them on the channel, and I haven’t seen her latest one take. So that’s def a great idea. She’s brutal. And an awesome person.
