You should switch the hornstrobe in both sheds to low frequency sounders. Also are you going to put a strobe on the front of your house?

As I explained in this video low frequency sounders are designed for sleeping areas to wake sleeping humans none of the spaces where I have orange strobes are sleeping areas

Earlier like 3 years ago, Nic had a LF Sounder in the Garage Shed in the Backyard with the 9200. If you watched his videos on it and the shed connected to the house doesnt need anything nice and theres no need for a LF Sounder in that shed and he just put the advance up so I dont think he would wanna change it

Depends on how loud you want it. It also depends on how big the room is so everyone can hear it.

@@CGray1234 I'd put it to low volume so that it does not hurt people's ears while still alerts them to a fire properly without starttling people or damaging their ears. However if it was outside then maybe it would be on high volume if it's in a big outdoor area if it's in a smaller outdoor area low volume may still be the perfect volume

I bought wall strobes and was going to do it however it would only be possible on the second floor so if I can't do them all it would not make sense to do any

got a question even tho i already commented... so my grandparents have edwards pull station with the screw.... they also have the bells that arent continous (apparently i forget how to spell)... are those called code 3? like whats the name of the bells and pull stations..... the bells are also mir one... but are those also "code 3" and are the pulls called 270 spos?

If it isn't continuous they are likely doing code 3 or temporal three however they are not limited to that coding. The pull station does not create the coding that is what the panel does in modern systems.

But in your videos they took nearly 5 seconds… why is that? (Sorry for asking so many questions my grandparents sure as hell wouldn’t know the answer to it)

@@13kyky13 very rarely does it take five seconds. They certainly don't on any of my systems. Relay based systems will have instant activation and addressable systems will become slower if they are larger with more points installed

Notifier is good but the programming software is not publicly accessible which you will need for some functions just depends what you want to do

It would be possible just more risky as it is quite vulnerable to being cut and energized therefore gaining access. Not a huge issue as it's already going to be challenging to take anything from there

@@Camporito25 I do not have physical access. fire alarms are powered by 24 V that needs wire to them. If you cannot get wire to them they will not work.

Can Isolator Modules also offer lightning protection as well if the SLC was struck by lightning after the isolator? Of course, that are part of the isolated branch will most likely be fried. But it could perhaps save the panel and other devices.
