I haven't seen anyone spinning since I was 17, I'm a Sheffielder and worked at PMC (pewter manufacturing company) and the firm had 3 spinners, they were like lightening spinning the bases for tankards, on piece work. I worked on a lathe trapping the bases onto the rims of pewter/silver plated serving trays. I also worked on a revolving polisher and did stamping aswell. Great to see this.
