Exploration by dinghy the deep part of Megatron a Victorian storm drain under the city of Sheffield. Information on a World War 2 bomb, and information on by homemade flashgun. A bit scary at times but a great explore.

😲 unbelievable! I cannot believe you paddled up there in an aged dingy you had in your loft 😂 I lived in Sheffield for 10 years (studying & working) and I’d never seen photos never mind a video of that underground area. Fascinating, but there’s no way I’d go down there on my own 😂. All power to you, Pat. Stay out of bother ya mad man. 👍

T 1 out & about Hi yes amazing place under the streets of Sheffield, glad we did ,not throw the dinghy out brought back into service after many years in the loft. Great explore, not sure where I will be going next, thanks for your comments and watching, Pat

I used to do a spot of caving with my old chum 'Richard' back in the days when I was fit and able. Richard was one of the finest men to ever walk this earth and a keen caver for many years. I'm 61 now and physically buggered. We did a few places like this but we concentrated mainly on the Coniston Copper Mines. It was a wonderful subterranean world that I'm proud to have entered. I was always shit scared but my Beloved was not, and used to thrill at abseiling down mine shafts and prussicing back up again. Thanks for doing your wonderful videos Patrick. I am with you in spirit, but sadly not in person. Take care and enjoy the subterranean world.

Does appear to be a German bomb, doesn't it? I for one would have felt pretty safe under there, during that air-raid; and how wrong I would have been! I really must make that visit to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, I've been promising myself; if only to see and hear the last Lanc in Britain!

Awesome Patrick, would love to go have a look down some of those tunnels sometime. Really enjoyed this (like we did your last one on it too) so thanks for sharing. You did a top job and made a really interesting video on it. All the best, Gareth&Zoe Wildcamps
@patrickdickinson64926 жыл бұрын
Gareth & Zoe Wildcamps Hi Gareth and Zoe, supposed to be wild camping but I find a bit of exploring interesting and something a little different. The filming and photography gives different but interesting challenges but once you have mastered it the videos are a pleasure and fairly straight forward, no people down there, no rain, no wind time to do a few retakes when you need it up. I have saved some places to explore for winter as it's somewhere to go in bad weather conditions. Would not go down in storm conditions though. Thanks for comments and watching, always look forward to your videos, all the best Pat
