Shen is so sweet and fluffy! He's a good boy! His mum, Leila, is a good mama leopard and is doing a great job. I love snow leopards tails: they're so long & fluffy, act as a rudder when they're navigating their natural habitat which is steep rocky mountainside. Their pelts are so thick & fluffy so they stay warm in the mountains. Beautiful creatures!💕🐺🐺💕

@@giovanna8187 I had a look. They're gorgeous, but I also felt bad for the prey since I'm vegetarian. I live this dichotomy of admiring big cats but feel sad for the preys everyday... and then I myself have a sweet carnivorous cat! Then I realize mother nature made them this way and so be it. On my side, I prefer not to cause pain to animals.

Snow Leopards are my FAVORITE big cat….The first time I saw one, I almost cried. Imagine having the opportunity to work with a cub, hold a cub - for just a quick exam - I’d probably break down in tears and afterwards - outright faint. Absolutely awesome!!! 😻😻😻😻

In a nearby zoo (Lincoln, Nebraska in the US), all three snow leopards they had there died of COVID. That was only in November of 2021, so watch out for that.

I do not believe in caging animals for our pleasure, that said I am however incredibly thankful for caring people such as yourselves, the job you do in carring for animals born in captivity is amazing! I am on the fence when it comes to breeding in captivity, I am aware of both sides of the argument, yet I can not get beyond the facts ; too many backyard breeders and too many private citizens owning big cats breeding without any knowledge of what it is they are doing...when they are shut down, the animals will need care, and that is where facilities such as this come in ( or should ) as we all know animals born in captivity, handled frequently by humans can never be released into the wild...they must live somewhere, and sanctuaries such as these are beautiful places compared to many others. There needs to be space for these cats when the laws change and people no longer are able to own or care for them.

These cats need to be kept in areas where they're comfortable with the temperature range they cannot be kept their mind so they should it's not about showing people things are different places as important as that is the animals need to be taken care of first and foremost the comfort and the interest of people willing to see them should be grossly secondary primarily you should take a lot of animals from the Native habitat in Australia there which as soon as what we're talking about and make sure that people appreciate koalas kangaroos echidnes platypuses of dingos you know what else we got wallabies there you go thank you all the most Super Bowls you can think of other I think they're bats that have pouches too then you have you know of course reptiles maybe bring back the Tasmanian wolf it Tasmanian Devil you got this in Australia I thought that was just in Tasmania cool and then and so on but any other animals that are not native to Australia you know you could you could like a monitor be perfect a monitor would be great maybe bring a komodo dragons over there maybe release some I don't know you have enough daily animals in there anyway must have some more what else he got you know and stuff like that but things that are you can be comfortable and that kind of environment you know what I mean I'm not going to be bison to a desert museum where it gets too hot as hot as it can get to where they range I'm not going to bring in I know elephants are in Africa but they have big ears help them cool off and they throw a lot during their backs they wild in the mud they I picture someone else died from heat stroke but also as heavy SDR they have an awful lot of surface area between the trunk and their ears people don't realize that even the tail has a lot of surface area you don't realize in some ways how thermally efficient I'll say relatively efficient some elephants can be

В 2019 г в декабре, когда предположительно началась пандемия, здесь в Казахстане в Алматы была лавина обращений в ветеринарные клиники именно с кошками. Я помню, что кошки были все с одинаковыми симптомами - отек лёгких, и многих не довозили до клиники. Ветеринары говорили тогда, что непонятная кошачая зараза, в том числе предполагали новый штамм короны. Мой кот тоже тогда умер в январе 2020. У многих родных и друзей умерли в те месяцы кошки, именно кошки. Многие были вакцинированные, домашние кошки ( без выхода на улицу)

There have been many confirmed cases of big cats and domestic cats getting Covid-19, and a Zoo in Nebraska lost all 3 of its snow leopards to the disease. Cats being infected with the virus has been known since only a few months into the pandemic, and many other species have been infected, including urban deer. Just because you haven’t heard of something doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

I hear you that organ spoil fast but what if you raised feed animals and when I say feed animals the animals natural prey on the premises okay like let's say if a mountain lion goes after deer raise deer on the premises that are fed on nutrients Flora that are found naturally occurring where the deer live and it's native habitat so that you have the right essential body composition in a based on with the right type of diet and then you can feed the deer and column to feed the mountain lions same thing for snow leopards it'll probably be a good idea to get Ibex sheep Ibex iBooks sheep or not but they're I think they are I'm not like it's in the traditional shape but as in those type of hooked ungulates and then you know they can buy their buy hooked ungulates I think is that the right word and then you could feed them the whole entire carcass

Because snow leopards are extremely vulnerable to Covid-19 and have bad outcomes if infected; they die. Since they’re so rare, and Omicron is so transmissible, every precaution must be taken
