The thing i hope for most in Shenmue 3 is for alot of those random scenes that makes you feel Shenmue 3 is different everytime you play it. Where you have to be in a certain place at a certain time or you never get to experience them. This is one of the things that made Shenmue so cool. I think even today, people are still finding new things in Shenmue which is crazy.

Yeah, we just found out you can have nozomi fight with you in one scene in the original game. It's been 20 years and we just found that out now!

thank you for sharing this, the "old mecanical outrun" seems great, the chinese arcade games seems fantastic, they look like real chinese mecanical arcade games, and the game looks wonderful! It feels so "shenmue". thank you shenmue fans!!

@Extreme Sega Yes indeed! i did not know those and they seem very cool, thanks for the tip! And who knows, sega may have given ysnet the right to display some of their old games after all, and we might see some real mecanical arcade coin op they did back in time. the old "periscope" for example, that would be great. A "simple" fantasy zone would be fantastic too, but somehow i get the fealing we're more likely going to have "unlicensed retro style" games conceived by the shenmue 3 team. can't wait to try them!

Oh man, it's finally looking polished. So glad! It looks like a good successor of Shenmue. Not to realistic in graphics, so that we have our nostalgia feels, while also having an immersive environment. TOTALLY want this game.

Literally, I think, the only thing going against this game is the facial animations could just be a little better. Still friggin feels like shenmue. I’m still so happy. But.....low budget. What could they do? They did an amazing job considering the fact

Really with they'd get rid of the stupid puffs of energy when you hit people. Thats one of the things i liked about the original. Its the most non Japanese game made by Japanese people.

@Lord Sesshomaru No the over the shoulder normal view. I've always hated that view, and feels so much more restrictive and doesn't feel like open world in other games. Another case of fixing what isn't broken

I hate the new camera view. There was nothing wrong with the Original center view. It shouldn't have been changed. This New camera view negatively effects gameplay.

@@captainchickenpants3159 Over Shoulder view Is very restrictive and awkward. It restricts the viewing area of the player. I hate it. It didn't need to be changed. The original Center camera made alot more sense. It allowed the player an equal view of Ryo's surroundings during gameplay, Instead of restricting half of the screen, like modern "over-shoulder shooters" do.

Fighting still looks like butt compared to the original games...u seem arms/legs phase through the enemy instead of either hitting or blocking. In the old games it either was blocked or it was a hit...u never saw a whole arm phase through the dudes body
