I am a dancer and I wanted to know how if can use qi going to help with my energy flow and quality of dancing. But not only did you directly answer my question but I learned so much more about how to study and master movement. Your one talk taught me more than I have learned from all my teachers combined from the last 3 years about how to master movement, energy flow and intention. Thank you.

So deeply appreciating watching these talks again and again, and understanding more each time. I began practicing the Ba Duan Jin about 3 months ago, first just learning the movements like Shifu says. I was hyper focused on my breath and had a hard time keeping it steady, trembling the whole way through and feeling my sinuses clog up by the end (I've always had issues with anxiety & exercise). There were a handful of times I though I might throw up or pass out - and I've done "harder work outs" that didn't even trigger that. I believe now this was a part of the qi working through me in a way I had never asked it to, clearing detritus and opening passages that hadn't been used in a long while. In the past I might have quit, but seeing Shifu's peaceful gaze while moving with such ease and flow helped me find that reserve in myself and complete every session. My relationship with my own breath and heartbeat has changed dramatically, and I am now eager to continue it's growth. I am excited to begin learning the Yi Jin Jing now; previously I had understood it only as a process which 'transforms' the 'muscles and tendons' by it's application. Today's viewing of this talk has revealed a deeper level, that of witnessing the in the moment 'transformation' of one's own individual muscles and tendons, one by one, as the body is asked to move with deliberate intention and then fully experienced/observed as it does so. Thank you, always, for these uplifting teachings

These practises have changed my life! Started with Ba. DuanJin 4 weeks ago and know the routine well. Now starting Yi Jin Jing and love it too. I am also practising the bow-staff and doing meditation. I have always had back trouble, but now I feel so strong and vital ! Also the music you use in the routines, I have meditated to for 3 years. Was this a coincidence I wonder ....😊 I thank the universe for bringing you into my life! Namaste 💜🙏

Traditional Chinese Congfu is a form of qicong because it uses my head to direct das flow of energy; It use my flow of energy to generate power; It uses my power to reveal das form; It uses de form to free my spirit; It uses my spirit to discover my true self. My true self is the only part or particle of me that wants to grow. An individual is a god in ruin. He must require strength Because otherwise He will never attain power.

Twice a day: one time in the morning, and one time at night. It depends on the number of repetitions you make for each exercise:a good number is 8-12 for each exercise. It would be fine if you could add other types of Chi kung to your daily practice, like zhan zhuang (static postures that you must hold for 5-30minutes in a row),and lian que(for example dantien breathing, for 5-10 minutes, which stores energy in your lower abdomen).
