I had honnor and pleasure to train with him. You can trust me: he is just technicaly amazing! Always smiling and very good person. See you soon sensei 🙏
Trained at his father’s dojo near Sendai. Only one visit whilst on holiday. Made very welcome. Thanks to Gen for taking my friends and I on visit to a Zen Monastery near Matsushima Bay the next day. Gen was a member of the dojo.
My boys and I always watch your demos. We study both Aikido and BJJ and love the various mixed techniques that you do. We have started our journey towards learning flips and cartwheels. You are a great inspiration. thanks

I remember teaching a female coworker Aikido principals in under a minute. I taught her a simple escape from a wrist grab and she learned it perfectly on her first go. I almost didn't have to speak, she was able to feel the technique and observe how a simple adjustment from her instinctual behavior would produce a fundamentally different result. I can imagine a hypothetical future where some creep tries to grab her arm and lead her somewhere, only to have her fall out of his grip as effortlessly as a leaf falls from a tree. To anyone who wants to say AIkido does or does not work, I simply say, AIkido is easy to try and one should judge for one's self.

That was more a mix of different things and not solely Aikido, e.g. Jujutsu. ;)

@@SirPayne Shirakawa often tries to imitate the Collier Judo Method. If you're familiar with Collier Judo, you can tell what he is trying but that he is still sloppy. He may be taking private lessons from them. It is the best combat style of judo today

What style is this
@FreeSalesTips3 жыл бұрын
@@cindycook6262 This sensei's school is an aikido school. The fundamental meaning of aikido is for the aikido guy to conform in harmony with the energy of the attacker. You'll find many techniques in this video that aren't taught in traditional aikido schools but that's okay, because aikido isn't about the techniques, it is about the foundation of "conforming in harmony".

I can't imagine Steven Seagal doing this training. What I like about this sensei is that he is willing to take throws from his students. Most of themi don't.
@lordoffaiyum97273 жыл бұрын
Steven is in his 60's. Also a white guy in Japan back when Seagal was learning would have had the shit kicked out of him. Trust me Steven had his ass handed to him back in the day son. You have no clue at all what you are talking about. He has taken a beating we just never saw it. Those Japanese kicked the shit out of him long before he became a master smh. Wake up.
