Coming from a guy who watched the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show, I've listened to a lot of bands. Most need at least two guitars to fill sound and even then, they don't always sound good. I'm really amazed by Shinedown's song crafting. It's some of the best I've ever heard from a three piece band. I hope they have a long career.

Recently I was lucky enough to see Shinedown live and they were freaking amazing. I loved every second of it. All the memories that some of their music was attached to made me smile so much. Before the concert, I hadn't been to one in 7 years and I don't think I could've picked a better one to go to.

There's no way he hit every single note on this song exactly the way they are in the studio version. He was probably singing live but they're playing the studio version for the DVD or however this concert was distributed If you've ever seen him sing this song live before or after this its never perfect like this

This is the studio version over the live version which is why it sounds exactly the same. Go to 03:10 - it's pretty obvious there. Don't get me wrong, Brent is a very talented singer but unfortunately this video does not show the live vocals.

Okay here's a couple of things that I have noticed because my ear is tuned into this 1. I know for a fact that Brent can sing beautifully live because I've actually seen a Shinedown concert and I've seen them live and his voice, completely raw, is amazing! 2. Brent is really singing at this shoe, but this concert was filmed and edited with the album track over his voice and it completely shadows his raw talent, which is very disappointing. 3. I can tell the difference in his voice from The Sound of Madness days compared to his voice now on the ATTENTION ATTENTION record. I can't even tell the difference in his voice from The Sound of Madness days and the Amaryllis days. There is a complete difference.
