I honestly never really stick with sharp straw, since I feel like at my skill level it rarely makes a difference. I usually look for something that can help me with my lost health. Toxic shock is always a welcome damage dealer, which can take out all the small spawns like flies and spiders.

Honestly those 2 items are made for each, nuking a room at the start is incredible and the boss damage ain't too shabby either. If you had gotten any sort of decent damage upgrades it would have been even better. (edit idk why top 3 comments got missed, I mean I'm glad my badly written comment made it but rip the S U C C comment and the 2 seven comments)

Sharp straw is a big time player, its impact is always noticeable and fun. Pair it with toxic shock and you now have a run capable of RUMBLING the game to victory

It’s nice and in a normal non-struggle buss run it’d fast track you to boss rush with ease.

The combo softened up the enemies fairly well enough for you to get through those floors even with no stat ups. Wish we could’ve seen it work with higher damage!

Dang, not taking lacrophagy and all the somewhat negative parts said about it kinda hurt. It’s an item that’s can just have some insane synergies (like the item with technology and hawmolcria (it creates repeated self-repeating tears and they get even better with cricket’s body)) alongside just being a great item overall, especially for having extra tears pop out all over the place

ToxicStraw is extremely nice if you manage to get above 5 damage, it was heartbreaking to see you not get any real damage upgrades this run. Those two items have the potential to be absolutely ridiculous
