Nine minutes into this video and I have counted 6 pink plastic bins that you get toiletries in when you go to the hospital. It is crystal clear this lady has some serious health issues. So glad she reached out for help. No judgement here. Bless you Barbie!

Don't think of the complete task. Not "sink full of dirty dishes", but "this plate, this cup, this other plate..." Focusing on one and only one object can help not to get overwhelmed. Not thinking "what a dirty kitchen", but square foot by square foot, ignoring the rest, literally not seeing the rest. Years ago my cat had diarrhea. She didn't make it to the cat litter box in time and "exploded" in my bathroom. My husband gagged, but I cleaned up chanting "It is just soil, only soil, nothing but soil..." It helped me a lot keeping in mind that everything is just soil. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, dirt to dirt. And there are things like soap and showers if I'm dirty.

@@AshleyC-m1h I see what you mean. The rodent (inspection supervisor) would be displeased because all the gross stuff is gone, that they lived in. But, alas, these are not human living conditions that the renter should be in because of their personal issues. I don't know what things the renter is dealing with in their life, but I'm glad that they asked for help. Hopefully this will take the stress off of them, so that they can get the mental care that they need.

I really enjoyed this video! When the beginning starts, it doesn't show the gravity of the sutuation. Every section you clean is just destroyed. Then, you bring it back to brilliance, and turn to the next section. The fridge, the stove, the microwave, the cabinets, and....are just brought back from death. It looked like you brought back love into the kitchen! I can feel this woman's pain, just getting sicker and sicker, frustrated, and nothing you can do about it. I'm sure the mice had something to do with her illness. They definitely destroyed this place. Barbie, your like an angel, bringing light back!

She must have been in and out of the hospital a lot because she has so many hospital pitchers and basins. She probably couldn't get any home care because of the state of the home. I felt very bad when I saw dead rats because of unhygienic conditions. That is really painful. Keep some space between fridge and wall as no space leads to over heat in refrigerator.and can even blast, thats true ! Your work is amazing, very hectic also. Kudos to you Barbie, take care !

I feel so sorry for this lady being sick and having to live in that grotty, filthy mess. You are so wonderful to go in there and clean it up! I think you are so compassionate and so thorough in how you do things. It's unbelievable to me that such an ill person would be sent home and not be given any home help. That would not happen in my country of New Zealand. There are hospital social workers who can check that a person will be okay and they can organise help if needed. You are a God-send to these people! It seems like her washing machine leaks, otherwise why would it be so wet underneath? The landlord needs to reburbish that place and get the pest controllers in too!
