I'm a Patron of Bobby Fingers, so I saw his video yesterday and couldn't wait for you yours to come out! When he says "I reached out to the guy from Mythbusters, and he said 'no'", I though, that seems unlikely... then "so I called the other guy from Mythbusters, and he said yes" and I got so excited. Adam's immediate pivot to safety talk really got me. He's extemely experienced in this stuff, and its the veterans who have done something hundreds of times that can start to forget the minutiae, and when dealing with a potential bomb/cannon, you can't afford that when you dont have support to double check stuff. It was all on him and he took it deadly serious, and for that, I salute him. o7

I’m dying for Adam to go on safety third, and I always wondered why he’s apparently unhappy with Allen Pan’s mythbusters merch shenanigans because it seems like his kind of humor honestly. Im like actually crying over this collab. 4 of my favorite people coming together for an amazing collab. Like i grew up watching mythbusters. Practically since birth, the show literally came out a year after i was born. Ive been watching the slowmo guys since the conception of the channel. I've been watching gavin since before slowmo guys, when he was first hired on at Rooster Teeth, when they had the tiny office and moslty just fucked around all day, and bobbyfingers was a massive inspiration for me throughout high school. This is a DREAM COLLAB for me.

Correction, it was Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Va. Apollo’s Chariot was the specific coaster and living in Williamsburg that incident is still infamous!! Having ridden the ride many times that conversation comes up all the time when in line for the ride. Haha.

I loved in the @theslowmoguys video they included the safety instruction you gave before firing the air cannon. You message about thinking how to do this safely reminded me of @smartereveryday doing a version of the bullet vs bullet you tested on MythBusters and the safety check list he had for not just safely shooting 2 guns at each other but also the saft while setting things up. To me showing the processes and features of a build that are needed for safty are more informative than just a "Don't try this at home" statement.

Grew up watching mythbusters with my grandpa and went through my teenage years watching gavin screw around in games, on podcasts, and in slow motion. And now you guys have introduced me to Bobby Fingers, who im going to go check out now. There's something incredibly touching about three groups of creatives all admiring each others work from a distance, and coming together just to end up working with each other like they've been friends for years. Adam Savage, and all the cast and crew of Mythbusters inspired so many people to end up tinkering and creating, then recording it so it became "Science", and I love when that comes full circle and those creatives get to "wow" the Mythbusters the same way they would "wow" us.

Where in you have a base set of people of say Adam/Tested and the Slow Mo Guy's and depending on the Myth or thing you're trying to test you find a KZbinr who is relevant to that specific subject/field to help out and cameo. Sprinkler control valves work just fine at 100psi for air cannons. Runs on three 9v batteries wired in series. A long cord with a trigger allows you to stand a bit off when it fires

This collaboration is actually my first exposure to Bobby Fingers, and I am kicking myself for not learning of his work sooner! His video was so amazing and hilarious! And seeing all of you working together on this was like a dream! I'd always wondered what a collaboration between you, Gav and Dan would be like, and this exceeded all those expectations. I hope with all my heart that you, Gav, Dan, and Bobby can find another project to work together on, because this put such a huge smile on my face.

Really cool hearing adam talk about the slowmo guys as genuine experts. I feel like their branding is much more 'two lads got an expensive piece of tech' but it rules that behind the camera they're very much experts in their field.

It's been great to see Adam "back in action" with a Mythbusters style build. Don't get me wrong, all the other content you guys at Tested do is great, and I can't wait for more, but this is the sort of good stuff that made Adam Savage the legend he is.
