I agree and have said similar in multiple occasions! 🍻 Here's a real brain melter for you/everyone... Try and imagine a world where Mythbusters never happened, and as such, Adam was never in our lives, nor would he be now. 🫠🤯 It's nigh impossible! The knock-on effect of Mythbusters would've meant so much in the world would not have happened. So many people wouldn't be in the fields they are in all because that inspiration wouldn't have existed. It's basically a very real and public example of The Butterfly Effect... I'm *very* grateful we DO live in this universe, which _did_ have Mythbusters and now Adam on KZbin.

I enjoy watching the amazing builds Adam has made, and watching his process. But I think this solidifies for me that his interviews are the best. Just seeing someone who has had such a wide range of wild experiences (often involved in the process with some contraption or another) lovingly geek out with an expert in a particular field, and get into both the technical detail of how a thing works, and the personal detail of how an expert found the field and developed their craft, is just so uplifting and encouraging. When it is hard to feel good about the world, seeing Adam's boundless enthusiasm and love for the human experience as a whole, never ceases to comfort me.

Same as with Mythbusters, it's all fun and games until the firearms or high explosives come out, and then it's all business. If you ever watch Cletus McFarland, his persona doing s**t with cars and how he acts as a pilot are two very different things.
@TehFrenchy2922 күн бұрын
Particularly given the flip isn't just "okay we're going to shoot the thing now it's serious time" and then minutes of being more professional before the moment and then winding down to relaxed again -- it's laughing and goofing and being silly until maybe a few seconds prior to the real thing is done fully serious and an immediate return to goofs the second it's clear everyone's okay and nothing has gone wrong. Joking asides to camera one second, the thing they're there to film next second, confirming Adam's alright second 3, back to joking and laughing by the time 5 total seconds have passed.

And that was just the emotional magic. The high detail perfectly set and lighted and all that end result is absolutely magical to watch, take in, and makes you wonder at details like how momentum and energy is passed on from the hand and seems to magically send water drops flying off at an incredible rate.
