Stoked about the 4x5 film. A little secret: it's half the cost of Portra 400, and it'll probably be just as good. I do so wish 800T was produced in 4x5, it was awesome to have it at the last kickstarter campaign. Y'all should have special batches of 800T in 4x5 made once in a while.

I roll my own 250D, and I love the effect that removing the remjet gives. I have removed it before in a darkroom, using a bucket, but I might have to get some of this. So much more convenient. And these shots are Amazing!

Well I guess that answers that question, I see the halation... no bright light spots for me, I backed a bunch of this on 35 and 120. I'm a 250D shooter but I suppose this will be a shadow film for me.

I'm sad that you're being so ambiguous about the emulsion of the film. I get that it has been designed to work well as a stills film but I think it's important that film photographers get to be educated about what they're shooting. There is so much romantic BS in the film community that's a very disrespectful to the science that goes into producing film. Why can't you just say, it's the same emulsion as 250D 5207 but without a rem jet and with a special anti static lubricant? Or if not, say that. Say it's a new emulsion based on Kodaks Vision3 tech, or using the same tech that's used in 50D and 800T. Because let's face it, it looks just like 800T does, when shot in daylight with an 85 filter. And we know how closely the Vision3 film match. They have to, for movie making. I still backed the film because I think its' a dope product. But I don't agree that there is anything wrong with taking a great emulsion like 5207 and converting that to a stills film. We know you get uncut master rolls without the rem jet from Kodak. Transparency is good, especially if you're a small company asking your community to fund your products.

100% agree, I can roll my own 250D for half the price. I still backed it but they showed samples showing halation only after I did... Which is my fault for being early... it's basically the same effect, which I'm not a fan of. It will be a shadow film for me.

Sorry I couldn't back it as Import duties postage and sales tax to bring it to the UK basically doubles the cost. I will buy some when Analogue Wonderland gets it in stock.

I would love to see an updated time frame. I purchased 200 sheets of 4x5 and somewhere around 150 rolls of 35/120. I was hoping to use it on my first zine shoot, but I don't think thats going to happen because of the locations I had to book were unavailable later on in the year :( I really wanted it for 4x5 and 120 in time but sadly I don't think its going to happen.

Excited about new films and all but… what about all the new film photographers. Prices for film have become so expensive you are literally paying an arm and leg for film. And if you don’t have experience in photography and start off with film… your mess ups are going to be expensive. I started film a few months ago but I’m sad to say I’m putting my film camera away.. these film prices are absolutely absurd
