Sorry but the stock shocks on the c55 were Sachs units, not bilstein. Bilstein does make oem spec replacements. I’ve yet to see a truly track built C55. I need to get on it. Good to see people trying though. 👍🏼

I believe they went to the Sachs for 2006 from the Bilstein due to the 2005 having too harsh a ride

@@earthfeeler never seen stock bilsteins on us C55’s, I work closely with an amg auto dismantler that sources parts for us. Always been Sachs didn’t matter if it was 05 or 06.

@@84Prich My 2005 has Sachs, I switched to Koni yellows that are adjustable but cannot find custom heavier spring rates. the lower springs sold by KW and Eibach are softer.

Kinda sad he doesn't even know what engine is in the car... If you think that the gearbox is a weak point of the car please do your homework before you say stuff. That gearbox was designed for V12s hence it can handle all the torque and hp youll throw at it. Is it slow in stock form? Yes but the TCU can be tuned or you can just swap the internals from SRTs models since they used those 722.6 gearboxes.

What did you use for suspension? I want to ditch the larger front coils to get more tire clearance.

The cup holder part was a big fail.... the button says open which wouldve revealed the bigger cup holder

u are so wrong the 722.6 transs Benz uses it even in the v12 tt cars because it handles the power without failing

It's actuall a CLK front end which fits this car. Looks like a W211.
