Hands down this is one of the best car reviews I have seen. The star of this video is so upbeat, energetic, and really keeps your attention throughout. Really helped me to understand more about the car I'm thinking of buying

On 12/11/22 I bought a 19 Forester Touring with only 4,700 miles. It’s a Certified Subaru. It’s Sephia Bronze with Saddle Brown leather interior. It looks and smells showroom new. The previous owner put Michelin Cross Climate tires on. They’re awesome in snow, ice, mud, wet and dry roads. We get 5-6 feet of snow every winter so tires that perform well in the snow is a must. I’m glad I was able to get such a prime example of a beautiful Forester Touring

That’s the most watchable review of the Forester that I’ve come across. Had a Forester for five years and it has been totally trustworthy. It’s certainly is not the fastest, but that isn’t the reason for buying one in the first place. Instead it loves an adventurous weekend away in fun driving conditions. Love it!

Hey Zack just wanted to say this review was so good/witty/funny! I have probably watched every review of the 2019-2021 Subaru Forester on KZbin and this one had a lot of content the cookie cutter reviewers miss. There are detail items that prospective buyers want to see and learn about and most reviewers just crank out the same review as the previous guy. So I appreciated "I love Foresters but I never got one so maybe I can live vicariously through this one.", "It's not fast...but that's all I need it to do. You're not going to be setting records at Autobahn country club so it's fine.", "Every Chicago man's dream is a heated steering wheel and the Bears winning on Sunday.", "There are no dead switches...it makes me feel like I got every bell and whistle", "I will now play a compilation of me getting more and more frustrated with this feature but remember you can turn it off", "Shut up! Shut up! My eyes are on the road!!!", "You know, Toyota Corollas don't come with a telemetry screen.", "Of course we have to do the Big Friggin Bottle test and unfortunately the 2021 Subaru Forester gets a fail.", "My knees don't have a PRAYER of hitting the front seats...I feel like a regular human.". I loved the zoomed in video of the auxiliary screen and the little screen behind the steering wheel; making them easy to see and understand. So many reviewers video that screen from a few feet away and don't show many of the screens whereas you really got into it. The only thing I feel most reviewers miss is the light on the rear hatch. Some Foresters have an LED light on that back door which I think it sorely needs to light up the trunk area. My 2018 Forester had this pathetic dim light in the trunk area mounted to the side near the wheel well. I had to buy and install and aftermarket LED that mounted to the trunk door to provide a reasonable amount of light. So I've been wondering what the deal with the next gen Forester trunk light situation is. Anyway thanks for making this review!

Snow dirt mode on Xmode disengages at 18mph. Deep snow mud disengages at 25mph. On the Forester if the Deep snow mud disengages and your wheels get below 25mph, you’ll have to turn it back on, whereas in the Outback if you drop back down below 25mph after it disengaged above 25mph, it will reengage .

😂, I disabled the “Driver Focus “ crap. Even when you’re looking straight ahead, the damn thing beeps. I also disengage the Stop Start function. It’s so annoying. Other than those crappy items, I Love my Touring

Hopefully in 2022 we’re going to upgrade to a forester! We drive a Mazda 5 minivan and are hopeful for this!

Wife's car is 2016 Forester "Premium" trim and I use that term loosely. Very boring and bouncy to drive, but a beast in the snow. I take that when my Town Car might struggle :D

Wish they would offer the STI JDM Edition as a USDM model. With the STI bullet proof trans and not that crappy CVT. Would make such a nice Sporty SUV and replacement for the hatchback WRX STI they don't produce anymore. Slap some Fortune coilovers and some nice 18.5 wheels. And it would be a show stopper.

Subaru has changed its Symmetrical AWD system for the worse over the years, in the name of better fuel economy. Back in the day it always had a true 50/50 torque split, but now most Subaru vehicles have a 60/40 front biased torque split, which isn't a deal breaker, but it doesn't make their system a bit more like other AWD systems on the marlet.

Subaru drivers buy a new one every 10-15 years... They need the old speedometer for what those drivers need to drive the car...there is more than enough tech in the car

It’s too bad that we have to order a Forrester Sport and wait 9 months before we can actually get it. Why not just order a 23 year model so we can get it by December

Consumer Reports says to Avoid the 19-22 Ascent as they are VERY UNRELIABLE.
