baron just an update on the candy addiction, after relapsing in celebration of the last video, I am consuming candy at consistent amounts again. therefore this video has not affected me in any detrimental medical ways, as I would have consumed this pack of smarties anyway. glad to see another upload :)

i know :( Casual VS Speedrun San Andreas would be tough for me to restart right now. I think trying to understand two games at that deep of a speedrun level at once overloaded me. I've shared this before in your discord but kinda got shot down: In Did Someone Say Yoga, the current strat to avoid being drugged is to call Downtown Cab Co. and then Amanda twice, which have two different button sequences. The mission will force the phone down at the line "Fine, give it here", and will then periodically attempt to force the phone down every so often after that. The first time the game tries to force it down (at the line) is always successful, but attempts after that may fail depending on who you're calling. Calling Amanda is not immune to those subsequent attempts, leading to needing to make three calls over the drive. Calling *Trevor,* on the other hand, who is an up press away in the contacts, *is* immune to the subsequent attempts, leading to only two calls over the drive and an only slightly longer button sequence of up-A-up-A instead of up-A-A. Furthermore, calling Trevor lasts long enough to hit the voice line to force the phone down the first time, leading to a situation where calling Trevor twice is just simpler, as it's only a single short button sequence to drill into your mind. Now, the thing is, this is already pretty useless to current runners, as they've already trained themselves on the old strat, but for new runners, this is at least a little weight off of their minds, allowing them to better focus on the driving. Yes, there's no time save, but it should improve consistency for new runners.

That's a good thought! I would imagine in theory yes, in practice no. You'd have to slow down the chopper or jump out sooner which is going to make the parachute not gain as much as an advantage. As well, you greatly increase the risk of also blowing up the truck, especially if there is a car going the other direction. If you blow up the truck by accident, it causes a 2-3 minute timeloss of resetting the mission.

Isn't the ladder launch also related to frames per second? If you have too high a frames per second you can launch very high in the sky and I think the speed runners cap the frame so that they don't go too high Edit: oh hehe should have watched the whole video first 😅
