I wish you would do tutorials in real time on how you do your small landscape paintings. Like you give us a list of supplies and we follow along and learn how to mix and apply the colors! That would be so much fun!

I made a fan swatch (on strips if paper) and attached it with a paper fastener so it was set up like the palette so it was really handy. I was surprised at how nice the paint was and I just looked at some paintings I did with those a couple years ago and they still look great.

You're welcome. When it comes to overall design and paint volume, halfpans set win. If you want more colors, the fan palette wins.

Its true that the inner most colors are harder to access. Theres another version of this set where it folds like an accordion and the pans can be removed and rearranged acc. to the pics i saw of it. I think it has a more convenient design compared to this fan style. Nice also na you showed how thin the extruded paints per pan really are. First review where i've seen it done to this specific palette. Thank you again sir for the great review vid :)

I had this set before but I sold it later on. It is indeed very vibrant but the design just didn't worked for me. When the colour codes stickers started to peel off due to the moisture, it got really annoying because it was harder to know where is the certain colour is located. Nevertheless it's a good set to have for leisure paintings and beginners. Please review Mont Marte Two Seasons Watercolours in tubes next time. Would love to see your thoughts about it. I think it will help a lot of beginners since it's a cheaper option for many. ☺️

Sulit po tlaga ito lalo na if compared sa SImbalion.. for easy and wash practice mo nalang po yang Simbalion or letterings. medyo malayo ang tingkad ni Superior. :)

If it is the Giorgone in rounded cakes, pls dont get it. i have a strong feeling it's chalky. This Superior fan set is really vibrant your daughter will surely love it. my issue is that she may easily finish or consume some colors since paints are too thin. You may wanna checkout the halfpan version of Superior, I think it's more child friendly?

Watercolors by Allan Jay Quesada I have the superior pastel set, they are not as good as the regular coloured set, they are on the streaky side, and a bit chalky.

Watercolors by Allan Jay Quesada they are about the same as this set. As for the chalkiness I didn’t get the chalky. It was a bit opaque but I could be the blame for not swatching the colors correctly by wetting the spot where I’m about to paint. I am still a beginner. Also I’m very sorry for the delay reply. 😳

i saw another KZbinr review this set. they said it reminded them of the duel disk from the Yu-Gi-Oh anime XD. i got tempted to buy it just because of that. bur yeah the low amount of paint seems to be a turn off.

Sadly Im not familiar with the anime. 😔 but yeah, there's too little paint here, it's not meant for pads bigger than A5.. and applications preferred to be just washes.hehe

Yes, i understand where you're coming from. I myself am happy with my dense Whiskey Painters that can fit 24 pans. I bring it pleinairs with so much ease. I think, it's marketing bait that makes these new and 'unique' palettes a hit in the market. Sadly, it ends up giving compromised important standards in exchange of 'portability'.
