Horrific stories. Too many heroes in the world now. Also, the ruling of adultery isnt restricted to the one thats married, but it would apply to the sane individual who has experienced intercourse within a legitimate islamic marriage, whether still married or not.

I will never understand why a person would not grant divorce when the other spouse says they want a divorce regardless of you thinking they have grounds or not. Why would you want to stay married to someone who doesn’t want you?

This is great to listen to, thank you. Also maybe for a future show can you guys do a topic on how the so called Muslim community is capitalising on charging high and unaffordable prices to teach children how to read the Quran and Islamic classes. In the UK to send children to a Muslim school or setting the prices for most people are very high- in my local masjid they charge £50 per hour per child. And Islamic book shops are charging very high prices for children’s Islamic learning materials as well as capitalising on anything that looks Islamic from clothes to art. Online Islamic classes for kids has become a price war business who can charge the most, and to find a teacher to teach a child for half an hour at home is impossible to find and the rates are very high. This is putting a lot of Muslim parents from accessing these services and so many Muslim children are not learning because of this barrier especially when cost of living is soo high. Shouldn’t teaching the Quran be for free especially to children? Can you guys please research and look into this Thank you

What if the husband will not grant khula until the woman agrees to give him the kids? Can such conditions be put? Terms like this will make women flee from going to these councils and just use western law out of necessity. The husband remarries but the wife cannot because he supposedly doesn't want the kids around the new man
@MohammedAhmed-pl8xz29 күн бұрын
1. I don't believe a man can make such a demand. In a woman has legitimate grounds to leave the man, a legitimate and qualified organisation would help her through such a situation. As for the kids, that is independent matter from the divorce. The matter of the kids is judged based on what is best for the child, and if I am not mistaken, in the majority if not all cases, custody is kept by the mother. The overall message on the podcast is to seek council from legitimate and qualified organisations, that can advise on all matters in detail in accordance to that which is best and pleasing to Allah, and not to lack faith in the correct process, and not to be your own judge jury and executioner, thus following your own whims and desires. 2. Going to the western law courts in most cases is not done out of necessity, rather its sad to see women go to these courts believing they will give her what she wants. This is very dangerous, as such a person is basically saying 'I do not have faith in the deen of Allah, I do not believe this is what is best for me, so I will over ride it with a kufr court system, and thus oppress the other party in their Allah given right'. Very very dangerous territory. Many may say the one who has done this or does it has committed kufr themselves. Allah knows best.
@user-ve4zw6jp9i29 күн бұрын
@@MohammedAhmed-pl8xz good answer but I will mention to you that we are allowed to use the western courts as a last resort .. as a lesser evil when all other means have been exhausted but the other person does not fear Allah. And when we do use it we cannot exceed the limits and take what is not within our right otherwise that will be our share in the hellfire... Using Western courts is a last and final option not the first. In my case I had a pretty decent Mahr amount over 20k which was never given to me so insha Allah it will be given to me in other ways in this life or the next . I agree that the kids are a seperate issue and if he cared about them he wouldn't put me in the position that he did. Having a second wife is a right but it's not a need and if it is the man better be ready to step up in every way which lets be honest they won't without the help of Allah. So my issue is that every case is not the same and women have their reasons which ultimately they will have to explain in front of Allah . This life is short and people.can play their games all they want

I'm listening to the guest , ok maybe the sheikh may not be following procedures or wat not. But we missed the main point it doesn't matter child finance etc, if a spouse doesn't not want to be in the marriage u can't tie down because she or he will be entitled to half of the property etc. and in terms of children, sometimes it best for children in long term to be in a separate house, then in a household if parents are fighting. Don't blame the sheikh can't tie people down to marriage.

You gotta be balanced, people have issues that need resolving, but needs to be done in the right way as the host and guest are highlighting. Even in British law you need to have evidence to get divorce, e.g. extramarital affair, abuse, seperation with or without consent etc, it isn't granted on a whim. It's a due process to safeguard all.

There is a whole surah dedicated to divorce: Surah Al-Talaq. Therein God mandates the rulings/procedure of divorce. There is no surah on Nikkah. Point here is getting married is easy and requires just a few conditions to be met. With divorce however a whole surah is dedicated to it: It is not done so easily, as God hates divorce and loves unity. Just as He loves unity amongst Muslims. It is shaytaan who loves disuniting people and especially between the spouses. Seems like the shaytan has manipulated many of these so called “Shayks” into breaking marriages for a quick buck. However these marriages still remain intact. My advice to these so called “Shayks” is fear Allah as you will be held to account on the day of judgement regarding your actions.

This is not good. The host is correct, a woman no lomger desiring to remain in the marriage is in fact a valid reason, and there is hadeeth specifically addressing that fact. You have a beautiful intention, but you are treading on thin ice sharing knowledge that is not correct. This is a deep and nuanced topic and respectfully, this panel is not qualified to discuss. Apologies.

The whole point is, WHATEVER the reason, it should be forwarded to a legitimate sharia council who can assess the situation and advise accordingly. The deen has rules. It is not based on what I or you or anyone else merely thinks or feels like. If the world and life was just based on personal feelings, the reality of humanity would be dire.
