You left an awesome Sub plan! As a substitute teacher myself I appreciate it when teachers leave detailed sub plans for me and everything is in one place rather than having me scramble around to find things.

i have the tiny ikea containers with snap on lids and use them for dice, bingo chips, and a class set of sharpies. i've been teaching for 18 years and have had them since my first year of teaching. your vlogs always inspire me to try new things and get me excited about the work day. i teach in canada and it is so interesting to see both the differences and the similarities. have a great day. thanks for sharing your life with us. xo

I love all of your videos!! You are seriously my inspiration for when I become a teacher! Can you do a video on how you became a teacher? What degree you got, how your college/state testing experiences were? It would help me so much!!! Thank you!!! ❤️

I love love the format of your sub plans on the PowerPoint. Can you show us how you created that table? I'm having difficulty because my table is too big for one slide and I don't know how to continue the table onto a new slide. I would really appreciate it if you can help me with this. :)

Great vlog! Do you spend personal money on the things you purchased for your classroom? You are an awesome teacher that cares for the students. Bravo👏🏽

Inspiring. Absolutely love you. I teach ESL and I remember in one of your other videos you mentioned that you have ELL in your class. Could you do a video on how you approach teaching those types of students? Also do you have an instagram channel?

I'm sorry you had that experience with day care and your son. It breaks your heart when you feel your child is treated unfairly. Mom to mom advice on age three (been through it 3 times) spend as much time with him as you can and make sure he gets enough sleep. Sounds simple but when I'm away a lot and my kids don't get enough rest, their behavior declines. Good luck. Love your videos, ideas and energy.

J Patterson that is amazing! Love that you want to incorporate student choice while also teaching students to be independent and learning time management! It will definitely not be easy😉

how do you set boundaries between work and personal life. you seem to spend over 12hrs at work a day! wow you definitely go above and beyond. our teachers are so underappreciated.

adri xo I work a ton. Yes. This is my passion and where I feel like I truly belong. I have days where I stretch and spend a ton of time working but I also recognize to give myself a break when needed and step back. Honestly it all depends with what is happening at school.

Ugh, sub plans. I avoid being absent like the plague! That's probably because I was a substitute for 2 1/2 years in two states. So, I am a little OCD about making sure I have included every minute detail. Many of my kids tend to finish assignments quickly, too, just because they pick up concepts easily. Therefore, it can be challenging to make sure I leave enough work.

Welcome! Thanks for the kind comment. Unfortunately, I have no idea where my school found the easel. I found it in the hallway, headed to storage and snatched it up!
