I just came across your videos today. I am a fan. Quick question. What's your total lift? 9 inches?
@g_packventures10 ай бұрын
On that video, 8 front and back. But in the next videos, I bumped the rear to 9.5 . Stay turned, thank you.

It flex nice cant wait to test mine out and you have the v8 with dana 35 on the rear

It's 4.0 I just have a Flowmaster on it that makes it sound mean lol. Thanks for watching

Engineering Overland did 35's on a WJ without cutting the metal of the fender by moving the wheels/axles forward and backwards 1 inch each... you can see his build on his channel... I also don't like cutting those grand bodies. Makes more sense to extend the wheelbase and trim the plastic on the bumpers...

Cool, thanks. I'll take a look at his build. See what tips I can get

He's also on 8 inches of lift.

Try them w/out spacers. Offset should be better w/ just the wheels

I would but the wheels are 5x5.5 and the Jeep is a 5x5, so I have to use the adapters. If I like the way the 35s work. I might change them later on. We did the first trail test today and, well the next video will be good. Thank you for watching.

Scrub radius, the offset of those rims are crazy.
@g_packventures11 ай бұрын
Yes it is, I agree. These are some old school wheels I had and decided to give them a try. We still have a lot of testing on and off road to do. So stick around and see how they perform. Thank you for watching 👀.

You definitely need to re-gear my man you are just asking for that transmission to blow up. Leaving it that way Not only that the engine revving higher just to stay at highway speeds it’s a bad combination to go that big of a tire without re-gearing to the proper size, not only that you lose the climbing ability even in the low range the torque and gear is just not there. I hope you get that done soon so your jeep will actually last a long time.

You are correct, I have noticed it down shifts more often. I have a camping trip planned for this coming weekend, so I'll put it on the highway for some testing. I don't want to re-gear the D35, I might just wait to put a 44 on the rear to re-gear. I still have the 33s just in case this doesn't work out. Stay tuned, I tuck it on its first easy trail this week and I had to do more on it. I have like three videos I'm working on editing 😆, but Thank you for the advice and watching.

Bro if 65 is your top speed than something is wrong. I can comfortably go 90 mph in my WJ with warn out stock suspension and warn out of balance mud tires.
@g_packventures5 ай бұрын
Yes 65 is my happy speed, over that with 3.73 gears, my trans will not lats to long lol, but it will go over 65 if I want it to.

Going to ride like absolute sh!t!

It actually rides amazing. I did end up adjusting upper, lower control arm, track bar, pinion angles front and back. But that's for another video. A lot of people think that you can just put things on and it will work. But after doing a lot of adjusting and measuring I got it dial. No death wobble, no bump steer, and drives straight. Only thing I removed the rear sway bar so it sways a bit on turns. Also working on another video of driving inside and outside at all speeds. More videos to come, so keep on and see for your self. PS I driven jeeps with 2/4 inch lift that drive like s---, because people don't know what angles and adjustment can do if you get it right and take your time. Thank you for watching 👀.

Stop the lies lol. Been around this lifted 4×4 seen for years. No cherokee runs awesome with 4+" lift & 33's & above. You try to convince yourself & others, but the truth is it doesnt beat long arms. They wouldnt make many long arm kits if short arms would ride smooth. Nice ride though keep doing what you doing!
