I have an 08 Accord with a JDM intake setup that runs down to my bumper and it makes the car sound really nice till u have to give it some gas to get ahead of traffic when merging then it becomes extremely loud lol

Exciting video man! I got a 2000 accord SE and I wanna get one of these installed. Originally I was aiming toward a cold air intake but I was told it could harm the engine. Any advice on what brand to get?

Hey man, so yea me personally I would stay away from the cold air kits. But yea for the short ram I’d go with Injen. When I was researching this like 3 years ago, they were the cheapest while still staying name brand. I was originally gonna get a K&N but it the same thing just a lot more pricey.

I have a weapon R intake with a cat back exhaust, no muffler or resonator it sounds so nice but really loud! But let me tell you it takes off faster than it did stock, I want to turbo it soon. 2010 Honda Accord EXL

Wrap it with gold heat wrap. It will look awesome and suck in cooler air.

Yea I know exactly what you are talking about, it’s just the motor cover though. It’s plastic. The actually intake manifold is a little lower in the front of the motor. I totally understand what you are saying though.

The cold air take is in the front passenger wheel arch. Unless you have modified your intake set up. Which looks like haven't

My air inlet for the stock filter is behind the front bumper on the driver side. And this is a short ram intake not a cold air intake.

Unorthodox Garage The air box hose goes behind the front passenger wheel arch. There is a vent there where the hose that goes to your air box.

It was just a regular square filter and box set up. And I used no adapters for this.

Tyler Richards 7th generation Honda accords are wonderful low maintenance cars. Mine has 130K and I’ve only ever had to replace normal things. Brakes, oil, battery, a few fuses. The thing with these cars I would be weary of is that they are aging and most likely have been used. The car you’re talking about will be turning 15 soon. So some rubber parts may start to crack due to aging (radiator hoses etc). So yes I would say it’s a great car given that it doesn’t already have any mechanical issues.

jordy arias zapata I’m not sure sure what you mean by that. If you’re talking about when I hit vtec, yes you can definitely tell. Mine doesn’t kick in till 5,200k I believe though.

If there is, it’s so small that I didn’t notice. It’s a 2004 k24 ex coupe. I do remember that after this on a full tank about 90% highway I was getting 400 miles to a tank.
