I love how confident you are about bunkers, that you would prefer a bunker shot instead of a little chip

Love how you got a par on your 9th hole after a couple of “questionable” shots running up the 1st fairway. Shows very good concentration. Personally, I would have been so shrunk out about that drive that I would’ve rushed like crazy, hit some kind of short iron just to get back to my fairway, probably messed that up because I rushed, and who knows how many strokes I’d take to finish. And it probably would effect me maybe for the rest of the round. Not in an angry way, but being worried about doing it again. Max stress!
@jbacker11904 жыл бұрын
Your mindset has helped me so much. Used it yesterday, shot 93. Not my best, but I played to my plan. In fact, 2 back-to-back holes on this course are my nemesis. My goal was to bogey them by adding a stroke to get on. I parred both - never been done! Helped me best my partners!!! Love hearing the "playa's groove" on the hole-out on 12. However, the tuba should have played on 14 muffed 3rd shot - "Noone escapes the tuba"

Some days it works - got really lucky on this round to make some unreal pars and chips ins which was nice because I hadnt holed out from a bunker or chip for some time, other days it can go to pot, like the scores at St Francis Links and Horizon HIlls. Also, when it really goes South, I have to switch off the camera because it gets to a poijt when I dont have fun

Played here today for the first time in years and was surprised to find some redesign work completed (even since this round of yours). The last par 3 you play in this video, hole 6, is now a forced carry over water and more challenging. Nice course, but too many brown spots even in midsummer.
