This lady had the courage to get her degree leave after so long, I admire that! It's never too late. I'm almost in tears because I just had someone claiming to be a prophet stating that I was not supposed to divorce my abusive and narcissist ex-husband. She was regurgitating all of the bible verses Tony just stated. I prayed and the Holy Spirit reminded me that God released you; that is not your testimony that she is talking about. I felt so much peace come over me in that moment; I didn't even bother helping her understand the error of her prophesy.

This man sounds like my ex husband. 😳 That joka THOUGHT I was in a relationship (I wasn't) bc he had people watching me and wanted to confront the guy. 😒 Then he used the Bible on me all the time about how I was unsubmissive, etc. I finally divorced him (after a lot of prayer and God gave me peace) and my life is better. My kids and I struggled for a while but God blessed us tremendously. I don't regret leaving at all. I only wish I'd done it sooner. Sis, if you decide to leave be careful. He's like my ex husband. His behavior may become erratic. If you can get a restraining order, do it. If you stay in your home get all of the locks changed. Stay in touch with your child that lives with him to make sure he/she is ok. You just never know what he'll do.

I feel like I need to listen every day to keep me on track and as I am recently separated and it’s been a battle. I'm doing the social learning theory for my dissertation which pretty much says this, which also had me thinking, if my son ends up doing something I don't condone, or did not teach him. I Will not sob like "😩 Where did I go wrong as a parent!" No, everyone has a free Will........ There's sayings that remind us of this, such as, you cant control anyone but yourself.
